He loved the village of Iwatobi from the bottom of his heart, mostly because it held for him so many memories, so much happiness; iwatobi Village has played a large part on the definition of his very character, after all, it was in this village where he met everyone – his friends: Haruka, Makoto, Rin and Rei. This was where he learned how to swim.
He wasn’t really sure why he was getting sentimental about it right now; perhaps it was because he was sitting by the riverbank, with one of his hands outstretched, so it was in contact with the refreshing water of the river. He was alone and this was something that wasn’t at all common. He disliked silence, after all. It somehow made him feel very lonely, so him going anywhere without the accompaniment of anyone was, for him, a large deal.
His face was probably – yes, probably for he himself was unsure of what expression he was wearing as of the moment – stiff and devoid of the usual smile that brightened up his whole features.
Why had he come here, of all places? Ah, yes – he was going over to Haruka’s place, when all of a sudden, he just felt the urge to be near the river. How queer. Not that he wasn’t used to finding himself in strange situations due to his impulsiveness and lack of enough rational sense to actually stop himself from doing something completely incomprehensible.
He let out a soft chuckle as he began to play with the water using his hand that was already dipped in it. “Maybe I should stay out here until late and skinny dip,” he wandered out loud, not noticing that someone was not too far from him to hear his unwise murmurings.
