Swimming with the Sharks || rin-the-winner

After another long week of schoolwork and managing the the swim club, Gou was relieved to finally take a break. The school was giving their students a week off - sort of like a vacation - to relax before returning to school for midterm exams. The young red-head was especially happy, seeing as her brother also had the week off and was coming over to see her. Just thinking about it caused her pace to quicken, and she found herself almost at running speed as her home came into view.

Even though she kept her house fairly clean, she started to prepare everything for his arrival. It might not have seemed as big of a deal to others, but to Gou it meant a lot to have her brother home. Just as she finished sweeping the last room, something outside the window caught her eye. A glimpse of red caused her mouth to form into a smile. She rushed out of the room and into the hallway just as she heard the sound of the door opening. “Nii-chaaaaaan!”
