          A pair of loud noisy steps followed behind him           that  never  when  away  no  matter  how  many           twists and turns that he took. In fact, it seemed           to only be encouraged by his struggle.

                              So he turned. His gaze fixed on the other evenly.                                "What do you want?" A slight demand.

A gleam appeared in Shizune's eye as she spotted the chessboard on the table a few feet away from her. She looked around, hoping to find someone to play with.

She turned, tapping the nearest person on the shoulder, and signed towards them; before thinking that not everyone knows sign language. She then pulled her phone out, and typed the message, showing the phone screen to the person.

"[Do you want to play a game of chess?]"
