You’re in bed, relaxing.

You finally got a break.

After dealing with your fussy, low staffed job and finally graduating you felt relaxed.

You finally got your full 8 hours of sleep, eating normally, and even getting into self-care.

Yes, even taking care of yourself in other ways with the help of your amazing vibrator.

However, an issue.

Your parents had a rule where you couldn’t move out until you get married. You’re 25 and you havent had the time to even go on one single date throughout college and balancing work.

You hear pots and pans banging, your mom is probably cooking something up.

You sit up and go downstairs to help, turns out your mom has been stressing and planning something.

“Hey mom, are you okay?”

“Hi- yes! I need your help! You were up in your room lazing about, I have to take care of all these meals and-” “Mom, I’m here, I’ll help”

You helped her cooked and dealt with her insults and then you stop her.

“Wait, who’s coming over?” Apparently she and your dad were planning to meet up with some couple and their son and they never told you?

Weird, they tell you everything!

Whatever, it’s fine, you’ll just get through it, greet them, then hide in your room.

Easy

“Oh by the way, Y/N, you need to wear that blue dress, honey, you’d look beautiful!”

“Oh, sure, uh by the way, who’s coming?”

“Oh it your dad’s friends,”

She told some story about how they were friends for a while and then a name comes up:

You’re silent and think. You’ve heard that name before but from where?

**“It doesn’t even matter, you won’t even talk to him”**

“Okay, well when are they coming-” “Right now! Go get dressed, Y/N!”

You sigh and get dressed. A simple, blue dress, stopped right at your knees and was pretty on you. You fixed your hair then went to help plate the table with your mother. Your dad came home, helped as well and then the door rings.

Your mom urged you to open it and you did. You see the parents, hugging the mom and shaking the fathers hand and then you see him.

Kim Taehyung.

He was in black dress pants, a red button down, and he was tall.

TALL.

Broad shoulders, his monolid eyes, beautiful moles- shit, what were you thinking?

“Oh, hey! You must be Tae-”

He ignored you and walked right past you, you’re frozen in shock.

Did he just- no! No, it’s fine.

You close the door and walk with him.

“Well, it’s great to meet you too, I’m-” “Y/N, I know.”

He was cold and blunt as he said those words to you.

You brushed it off and before you could sneak off to your room your mom called you over to sit and have dinner with them.

The food was amazing, you sat across from Taehyung and barely registered any of the words shared from the parents and then hear the words: marriage, wedding, and whatnot.

It's fine, probably just gossip,

Then your mother taps your shoulder.

"Y/N, did you hear? You and Taehyung are going to go house shopping next week, finish the wedding plans and then-" "Wait, what mom? Wedding? For who?"

The parents laugh at your confused tone, Taehyung's mother spoke:

"Oh dear, don't tell me you don't know? You and Taehyung are getting married!"

You felt your heart drop and you hesitate, feelin nervous and scared but you swallow your many questions and laugh it off.

"Oh! I was just joking, of course I knew."

They laugh and continue to speak about the wedding plans while ou were lost in thought. YOu couldn't believe it. You had to marry some man who you never knew! It was insane, inconsiderate and you just wanted to scream, yell, and cry.

You couldn't now, they were already planning it as if they were the ones getting married. It didn't matter to them how you felt.

You lost your appetite and cleaned up your plate, before disappearing to your room, your dad called.

"Y/N, don't go yet, go hang out with Taehyung and get to know each other!"

You get nervous and sit with Taehyung, the parents had you two sit at the living room. The atmosphere was thick with awkwardness and silence.

"No! You two, go out, drive and get some desert! Live a little!" His dad said.

Taehyung poked his tongue in his cheek and sighed.

"Let's go." He said, getting up and grabbing your car keys which shocked you.

Taehyung would be something you'd have to get used to daily if you were forced to marry him.
