Rule 2: Answer the questions the tagger set for you.
Rule 3: Write 10 questions of your own.
Rule 4: ‘Tag’ 11 people. Let them know that you tagged them
1. You have 2 weeks and unlimited funds; where do you travel?
Unlimited funds? Hell, I’m flying friends to come with me. There must be a beach involved. Island hopping in Greece? Who’s coming with me?
2. Your favorite movie that most people don’t like or know about?
Singing in the Rain. Yeah, maybe not that unknown, but I have seen it way too many times and it’s always a favorite. Also I love old Bob Hope movies, well, I used to. I haven’t seen an old Bob Hope movie in ages—that may be something I do sometime soon, just a day of some old movies.
3. Your favorite charity/place to give or place you give your time?
One of my favorite charities has always been St. Jude. Having it here locally has been something that actually sparked a bit of my interest in nursing (there was much more—that was just a small part of it). Places to give time, well, while in school it was easiest to go to feed the homeless or join in with whatever situation was planned to give some basic screening medical care, because they are very scheduled events and I was able to do them around my school schedule.
I have actually been thinking about this recently—where my time is most likely going to do the most? What areas need the most help? What can I do? I know there is a new medical area opening up that I think is supposed to give free medical care and people donate their time there to help run that. That is one option, but I haven’t decided exactly what I’m going to do. I’ll probably keep serving the homeless while I figure it all out.
4. One very small silly dream (something you’ve always wanted, wanted to do, etc)
I wish I didn’t end up having such stage fright when doing things. I don’t know what happens---doesn’t matter if it’s on camera either---I have a bit of stage fright and that holds me back from doing things I would enjoy such as singing in public and such. I used to never even be able to sing in front of anyone what so ever and only since adulthood. It’s slowly changing. I did post those videos (still taken with a ton of my fright---just trying to overcome it some.)
5. What’s your favorite hobby, something you do to relax?
I used to enjoy drawing years ago. I haven’t taken time to do that in a while. Thinking of picking up some painting or drawing classes with extra time coming up (Salsa classes first—throw dancing on this list too) I enjoy card making, cooking, sewing, and reading.
6. Have you ever made anything?
Yes. Not sure what you are suggesting though. I made a cake today just for me! (I’m sharing it with others—I’m not eating it all by myself.)
7. Favorite type of sandwich?
Oh, I love, love, love sandwiches. I love fining local sandwich places, especially if the area is known for a sandwich (Cuban, Po boy, Philly, BBQ pork) and get one from wherever the locals get theirs and usually fall in love. (I’d do a lot for a shrimp po boy at this moment---it’s been a long time since I have had a killer shrimp Po boy)
Oh, this is a good question. In think in younger years the vacation I won to a Greek island (funny how this actually came back to number one—I didn’t read these first—oh, well). I took my best friend in school and we had a blast staying in a villa just enjoying every bit of every day. Traveling the island, enjoying the beach, relaxing, and partying at night—we enjoyed it fully. So much fun!
Now, it’s fun trying to figure out what vacations are coming up and where I’m going---I’m great just swinging by and visiting friends too. That’s always a good vacation too.
9. Least favorite subject in/when you were in school?
P.E.says the lady who spends way too much time at the gym. My coordination sucks, add in disproportionately short arms, naturally short legs, I couldn’t run, I can’t jump….I’m sure it was always humorous to watch me. I always enjoyed any kind of sports, but sucked so bad at them. Yeah, I was the kid always picked last.
10. What is most important? (First thing that comes to mind!)
Three things came to mind---all within the same realm—so I think it’ll count
Love, kindness, and happiness
1. Who has been the kindest to you in your life?
2. Have you experienced anything miraculous?
3. What is one of your favorite traditions?
4. What is your earliest memory?
5. What is the goal you feel you are working towards the most right now?
6. What is something that always makes you happy?
7. Cupcakes—go ahead and share anything that comes to mind about cupcakes
8. Do you collect anything?
9. Are you good at doing impressions? If so—who do you do the best?
10. What is one piece of advice you would like to give me?
