I've been really proud of myself because regardless of what has happened or however many tears our characters have cried, my eyes have stayed dry... until this happened. Until Dong-man proves yet again what we've always known to be true. Go Dong-man is a grown man. A man who knows his mind and his heart. And while it appears as though his mouth just spills out what scurries across his brain, he never does it lightly, or without assessment. And here he says what I've been waiting for since episode 1--- whatever he's done, whatever he feels, was never about his teacher's advice, Ae-ra's demands/commands or Ahjumma's caramel. And watching him confess that, broken-hearted as he is right now, with so much love, acceptance and resolve, hits so hard, it broke the dam for me.
