I've been wanting to draw this scene from Growing Pains for a long time now and finally got around to it.

Imagine waking up from 3 months of winter-time sleepy and your snake-daughter went from a normal big snake to a massive snake with no preamble or explanation. Acno is running the math to no avail, and as per usual, the kids are providing no helpful commentary.

I saw u were open to requests?? Do u write for fairy tail??? If so, could I get some headcannons with your pick of the Fairy Tail guild members and chef! Reader whose the cook for the guild? (Like whose making all the food??? It can't be mira, shes already basically running the guild when Makarov just drinks😭😭😭)

Thank you for the request! I'm not a big fan of the Fairy Tail guild itself, but I do have a couple of favorites.

I imagine the reader-chef for the guild as a fairly feisty person. After all, working with people is hard enough, and on top of that, there's such a variety of specific tastes - just take Natsu or Gajeel.

A feisty, maybe slightly rough, but always attentive reader who pays close attention to the guild members' preferences, and who masters the art of magical cooking, similar to Yajima's.

You have a great relationship with Mira. You share the bar space between the two of you and often consult each other about new drink and food recipes. There's no closer comrade than someone you've survived the worst rush with.

"What do you think?" - the she-devil begins mysteriously. - "What if we make a few sets for the upcoming holiday? For example, several dishes and drinks with a shared theme or flavor profile."

You slice vegetables with your usual skill, rolling your eyes.

"Only if they increase our purchasing budget. Otherwise, it'll be a disaster, not a menu update."

Tossing everything into a plate, you catch out of the corner of your eye that familiar sly smile spreading across Mirajane's face, and her hands are already reaching for the expense report log. Now you're smiling too.

"You're a devil, Strauss."

Kinana is also among your favorite coworkers. Sure, sometimes you yell at her, but only because she tries to take your dish away before you've placed the most important decorative element on the plate. Otherwise, you're genuinely grateful that you don't have to run orders yourself, and she admires your craft. Sometimes she places separate takeout orders and quietly asks you to add some poisonous crap to them.

"Have you finally decided to poison someone, or do you have a rendezvous planned?" - you tease, nudging her with your hip.

Kinana laughs, covering her mouth with her hand, and gives a meaningful shrug, but still slips the little poison bottle into your apron pocket.

The ones who usually get smacked are the shameless drunks and guild members who don't respect your cooking. You've already chewed out Cana's entire brain, but she still won't snack on anything with her beloved wine. You've offered her everything — cheeses, tartlets with various fillings, bruschetta with thinly sliced meat and jam. All in vain.

"Hey, come on, provider, won't you give me a discount? We've known each other for so many years," - the fortuneteller's charm doesn't impress you. You just "accidentally" sweep some leftover flour off the counter in her direction.

"Don't even think about it. And you're not getting any more cheese from me!" - and you both know that's just bluffing on your part.

Gajeel has recently fallen out of favor. You could forgive him for a lot. Forks, spoons, a pot, even a couple of knives! But when only the handle remained of your favorite whisk, your patience ran out.

"Get back here, you coward! You're lying if you say you're not caught!" - you chase after your offender, dodging people and tables. In your hands is a heavy weapon - a frying pan - and righteous fury blazes in your chest.

"I'll buy you a new one, you crazy ladle! And besides, it tasted like crap anyway!" - Redfox's mistake was that he stopped to deliver this fiery speech.

BAM! Target hit. Now he owes you a new frying pan too, since this one is all dented.

With Elfman, you have total idyll. The real man may not really understand culinary finesse, but he's always generous with praise for your cooking. He does eat a lot of food, but every extra gram is worth it.

"This meat is for real men! Your hands are made of the manliest gold!" - his loud voice booms between shoveling food into his mouth.

You just shake your head and push the napkin holder toward him, happily watching the youngest Strauss eat with such an appetite.

You have something for everyone in the guild. No matter how much you grumble and complain about how hard your job is, you still love it. And no one from Fairy Tail will ever go hungry.

Do you have any ideas for fun unison raid pairs we haven't seen?

Oh, this is interesting!

Lucy and Lisanna (i always wanted to see what an unison raid between these two would look like; since they both have a connection with Natsu, I am curious how a battle could build this duo in)

Jellal and Gray (literally have no strong reason other than the fact that these two would make a powerful attack together, and I would love to see these two bond)

Romeo and Wendy (two members from the same guild who are the same age, creating a fun little unison attack together would be great to see how strong the future generation of wizards really are)

Kinana and Laki (just for the fun of it really)

Max and Natsu (how cool would it be to have a sand and fire wizard combo attack)

Natsu and Gajeel (pretty surprised we never got a unison raid with them)

Mirajane and Erza (honestly,y I don't remember them having one together, but with how those two used to be rivals, their unison raid would be exciting to see)

Lucy and Cana (they were literally besties starting from tenrou so its a must that they should have a fun unison raid)

Erza and Wendy (they are have this mother/daughter dynamic that is very apparent in the series and I wonder how a unison raid between them would be)

Natsu and Juvia (one of the duos that I wish interacted more and definitely a part of my list here)
