✦ LET OUR BODIES TEMPERATURES RISE

You loved waking up to this.

Seeing your gorgeous partner the first thing in the morning is a wonderful experience. And you're glad that you can gatekeep this view forever.

Downside is, Kaiser’s bed hair is, well, really untamed. But you guess that's a way to balance out his charm. Because damn, his morning voice is hella nice. The type to have you giggling and kicking your feet— at least in your mind, as you have way too much pride to actually do it— each time you recall how it sounds.

But going back to his hair, it was practically a bird's nest every sunrise. You wonder how it even gets to that state. Does he wake up at midnight and decide to mess and tangle it up on purpose? Is the way his haircut is done doing this? With it being so… abstract, to put in nicer words. You begin to think you have an evil demon in your soul for thinking all this shit about your boyfriend's hairstyle, especially when he was right beside you.

Oh well.

You could feel his blond and blue locks tickling the skin on your neck, but you decided not to move and worm away from him, wanting to spare yourself from Kaiser waking up and complaining about how you move too much. He made himself comfortable on your chest, and you could catch the scent of his conditioner with your face half-buried in his hair. Carefully, not wanting to startle him, you brush back a stray strand behind his ear, met with the sight of the serene expression on his resting face.

Shit. You shouldn't have looked. He's way, way too pretty like this. Damn him and his lethal face card.

There was a certain tranquility dawning over him, with his familiar features bathed in filtered sunlight coming from the windows. Sometimes, you think this is a ‘they make me laugh’ type of relationship. Seriously, how did you pull this majestic man? With your unordinary rizz and equally weird sense of humor? With your impossible bullshit? …Then again, Kaiser always had a thing for the impossible.

While deep into your mulling, a sudden shift made you look down to Kaiser, who was on that line of being awake and drifting back to drowsiness. He reminded you of a cat, like this. A rather moody one, at that. But he'd give you a glare and decide to give you silent treatment for the rest of the day if you ever told him that.

Kaiser blinked away the sleep hazing his vision, and he scoffed before hiding away from the light, seeking refuge by planting his face on the pillows, unfortunately moving away from you. How utterly disappointing. You coped with planting your hand on his back, slowly running it up and down the expanse, watching the gentle rise and fall of his chest— controlled and calm— proving how he wasn't lulled back to sleep.

You didn't say a word, content with his presence being the first thing you feel in the morning.
