And back in my day, we called this a "film log." The 1st assistant was in charge of making these notes. We mostly shot brackets of 4 frames- two normal, then +1 and -1. Run the normal first, probably at normal, unless we already noted changing light or something. Then you check the exposure on that first sheet, and see what adjustments need to be made. Possible to increase or decrease contrast by how you run the + and - sheets. Better hope all the sheets were numbered correctly! Exposure had to be dead-on with transparency. Thankfully we had individual quick-load sheets by my time- no idea how people kept track of what's where in a box full of 100 sheets- not like you can turn on a light to check. #film #dontmissit #kindamissit
