Anyway, Viva always took after Aster, sometimes a little *too* much

Here is King Aster:

He has two scars on his face because of the war between Rosas and Estrellania. Aster is not related to King Galaxius, but they knew eachother, and because of that, Aster was made the new king of Estrellania because Galaxius had no wife or children.

After Luminara dissapeared, King Aster became very sad after she didn't return. He wears black the entire time because he's still mourning the loss of his wife.

He and Orion always got along very well before Luminara had to go, but after she didn't come back, Aster became too caught up in grief. He became more emotionally cold and became a little more distant. He still loves Orion though and always will, but has trouble communicating it to him.

And that's all I can say about Aster.

IMPORTANT ANNOUCMENT REGARDING THE GUMDROP AU!!!!!!

ASTER IS NOW OFFICIALLY CANONLY NOT DEAD!

As much as I loved the original angsty story of Aster being dead, I was honestly having a lot of fun imagining him as an old man living out his days in Pop Village and developing more of his character. So I decided to retcon the whole thing and have him be alive in the main Gumdrop AU, so he actually gets to meet his daughter and grandkids! (Also, as someone pointed out, we need more living same sex relationships that grow old together!)

Of course, this is an entirely different canon from the movies. This is really a very self indulgent AU that I made for myself so don’t think too hard about it. Anyway, now that Aster has risen from the dead, I cannot wait to share his adventures with you all in the future!

Introducing Patchwork, the 14 year old son of Viva and Clay. He loves the 90s grunge aesthetic/music and is normally very chill, unless you are his annoying cousin or overly loving parents.
