The Gatekeeper of Hell was truly at his lowest as Mammon had decided to yet again, torment him throughout the ages to the present. Much to Adam's own frustration? Unable to catch the overly slippery King of Fools as he yelled in a fit of rage, "MAMMON, you ROTTEN TUB OF LARDASS. FIGHT ME LIKE A REAL WHATEVER THE FUCK YOU ARE FOR ONCE, PUSSY."

A tap on his shoulder, Adam would turn immediately to blast with his holy light in an enraged roar. Punching a hole through Mammon's large chest as The Sin simply looked unimpressed, comically gesturing to Adam with a thumb while he turned to the camera, "This c*nt (honk), amrite?" And the Stunt Double would explode into molten confetti, searing Adam's face and body through his armor and mask as he'd scream blindly.

Yet the disgraced Archangel dropped his holy sword to the flurry that came next, Mammon on the offensive albeit doing no real lethal damage other than to his pride, "QUUWAAAAH, CORGIE DOING HIS TAXES STYLE." The Sin of Greed was using the twins Glitz and Glam as willing nunchucks to kick, slam, and punch to distract Adam as they had been his sidekicks for today. Mammon having them temporarily bound as Avatars of Greed to be part of his 'act' as the Entity of Avarice called out a series of mock fighting styles from Adam's request- disappearing and reappearing as his Stunt Doubles or expendable minions took the fall for him with the twins at his side.

Something that The Shadow Games does that I love, is having abilities play a role of symbolism in partnerships and enemies.

One of the most obvious is Enne, Lola and Levi. Enne is a decendent of the former ruling class, the Mizers, and possesses their ability of volt-making. Levi directly informs us that his family talent of orb-making meant they used to work closely with Mizers to make the nation’s currency. Blood-gazers, like Lola, were frequently used by Mizers to root out people who had unsavory talents to enforce their rule.

Blood-gazers and Orb-makers helped Mizers protect and expand their power, and when the revolution came for the Mizers, most Blood-gazers and Orb-makers seem to have gone with them.

Levi is Enne’s first and closest ally, and Lola is the first to swear loyalty to her. Their powers aligning with the people on top durring the former rule is entirely coincidental in-story, but offers an interesting perspective for the reader to examine.
