How did you develop your art style? It's so cool cause it looks hella simple until I try to replicate it and it comes out looking F up
Well I take inspiration from lots of things actually, and it takes a long time to actually get where you wanna be (I’m still not even at the level I want to be at but thats why I keep pushing anyway)
I take influences from lots of things like monster movies, cartoons, movies etc and I do my best to try and draw whatever I can.
Always be willing to push yourself and dont stop practicing, cus you’ll look back and realize your mistakes and that’s what will make you wanna do better next time, and sometimes it will feel difficult and excruciating but personally I find that the more you push through it the better results you will get
Also it’s important to save your older work cus sometimes you look back at something you did in 2009 and think “hmm I could have definitely done better at this”
and then one day in 2017 you use more of what you’ve learned to make something more updated and proper
moral of the story: take inspiration from various sources, don’t be afraid to make mistakes and always push yourself to try harder, then eventually you’ll start to pick up on ways to create your own style of art c:
