Jasnah: I don't care if they're at peace, at war, or actively on fire. I am ordering Omelas to let that kid out of the misery room and hiring assassins to kill anyone who tries to stop me.

Kaladin: I will personally rescue the kid from the torture room because what kind of monster would ever force dear sweet innocent Tien I mean some random child to suffer like that?

Shallan: I will infiltrate the upper echelons of Omelas, learn the guards' schedules, and then make everyone think there's still a kid in the misery room while I smuggle him out.

Taravangian: Heavy is the head that bears the crown, for I must cram like thirty more kids into the misery room to make thirty times more people happy.

Navani: I will decipher the mechanism by which the kid's misery is converted to everyone else's happiness and then replicate it with artificial misery so that the kid can go free.

Wit: I'm amazed that you all managed to miss the point of my story in your own special ways.
