Large font or Small font?
I find small fonts in books very intimidating and headache-inducing, especially in mass-market paperbacks. On the other hand too-large fonts can get annoying so I prefer something in between :) xx

I don't know why I get so angry when zach reads part of the girl who fancies goat cheese. I think it's because was inspired from a time when I was in love with someone else and my experiences from it. Ugh idk

OH MY GOD! I am really really VERY SORRY! I assumed I was the last person on the planet who hasn’t seen the 100 and I am so sorry. :(
An appreciation post about my nice full lips
Another Skin Color Post.
A lot of the time I don’t feel black enough.
I try to communicate with my sisters and brother but there is this gap between us.
A gap that no matter how hard I try, we just don’t click.
We don’t use the similar phrases or what the same shows.
I wasn’t raised like you. I isolated myself and nobody thought that was wrong.
Nobody thought that maybe I should learn to communicate with the people who look like me, the people who get treated like I get treated, the community that knew more about me than I of it.
“You’re just like a little white girl.”
“You talk like your white.”
“What are you talking about”
These words burn me like a thousand coals.
I’m not white
We grew up in different worlds.
I’m not white.
My skin is lighter than yours.
I’m not white.
It took me a long to love who I am but I don’t fit into my community. I’m like a stranger.
That Person
It took me a while to understand that I am that person. The person who did things in only the way I can. That friend that can only comfort you in the ways that I know. That stranger who you didn’t even see as you hurried through the busy sidewalk on your way to something more than my name. That person who uses the locker next to you and is only at their locker when their reality allows it. That sibling who can only annoy you in that kind of voice. That lover who touches you in no ways other than the way that I do. Everyone knows that person. We are all that person to someone, because we are all given different tools to build who we are with. We can only do what we know how to do until we are given tools to do better. It is amazing to be a person. A living, breathing, force to be reckoned with. There is nothing in the world that can do what you can do. Because only you can do it like you. Only I can do it like me. Don’t be that person who missed their shot. Don’t be that person who lives in regret. Don’t be that person who just didn’t try. And if you are that person that’s fine. Because the lessons you learn will be forever yours and only yours. You will have knowledge that nobody on this planet has because only you could understand it in the way that you do. Never stop trying. Be yourself. Be that person.
