Wingul watched in horror as his world crumbled around him; as if someone has dropped a mirror, shattering it into millions of pieces. A small child held onto him, as if for her own life, blonde hair and bright clothes stark against his own dark attire. Wingul felt a falling sensation, though he didn’t seem to be moving -- his stomach lurched as if falling from a cliff, into an abyssal darkness that led to an unknown.

Wingul felt a tug on hem of his sleeve, looking down to see the small girl who had clung to him so looking up at him with what could only be called a petulant expression.
“Your friend’s been sad.” She stated plainly, before stepping away and pointing to the side. “So you should go see him, okay?”
Wingul gave her a curious expression, looking to the side and finding nothing but strangers, seeming to be in a strange city, and --
Suddenly, a familiar figure caught Wingul’s eye. He wasn’t wearing his armor (fool, what if someone attacked him?) but there was no mistaking the air about him, nor the stance he took. He was in the presence of his King.
