Who was the last person you fed from? Was it anything special or just someone to eat.

Inigo is quiet for a moment. "Lovelace's stalker. It wasn't the plan but..." he sighs. "I was hungry, and he needed to die."

Quieter he mutters, "I just wish he didn't look like Lovelace." I wish it didn't remind me of killing Valentina. Or make me wonder if I can do that to my other loved ones.

25. Who was the first mortal you hurt as Kindred?

"It was a loyalist that padrí no longer needed," Inigo answers. "I never personally knew the poor fool...not that I needed to. I'd already killed mortals as one so..." Inigo shakes his head. "That one wasn't much different."

26. What would your mortal self think of you now?

The knight looks down and frowns. "Don't know. A younger me might have been heartbroken to know knighthood was so bloody. But me a few years before I was embraced...? Maybe he would have foolishly thought it's a rosy honor to be more like padrí."

"They both would appreciate having someone fighting for them, at the very least."

28. What's something that you'll never forgive?

"That malparit of a Prince ordering Valentina embraced. Not because it hurt me to do, but because she didn't want it." He glances away and mutters under his breath, "The one last thing I tried to do for her didn't even fucking matter."

He looks back at you. "If I don't make it, I hope she kills that Ventrue cabró instead."

(TL: malparit = idiot/ literal: malborn. Inigo is specifically using the 'malborn' meaning because the Prince is a Ventrue. Cabró = bastard)

43. What song is your unlife?

"Well that's quite the change of pace from the last questions...," Inigo raises an eyebrow. Nonetheless, he answers, "Guerilla Radio, by Rage Against the Machine." The knight seems somewhat proud of himself for knowing such a new song, grinning just a bit. "Honestly I like a lot of their music...it's fascinating to see what mortals have done with guitars while I was asleep, and rap scratches my love for poetry too."

for the artist ask game!!

if you had one piece of advice to give your younger artist self, what would it be?

Oh this is a tough one....

There's a part of me that wants to say'study your fundamentals sooner' or 'post your art online sooner' because I feel like I was so behind in those. Also, I think that'd put pressure on a younger me that I can see would be unfair.

I think I honestly might tell my younger self that like, other people with OCs exist and to go start making online artist friends sooner. I didn't know that was a thing at ALL, and it would have been fun to be involved in more fandoms when I was younger and did fan art more often.

So in a way, 'post your art online sooner' but with a really specific idea in mind, which is to make artist friends outside my irl circle. I think I still need to work on that, honestly, I'm pretty shy when it comes to talking to people.

✨ How did you come up with the OC's name? (Inigo)

Inigo's name is just full commitment to the Princess Bride reference! I wanted him to really have the same energy as the famous "My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die." line, and Inigo Montoya in general.

Him being a flirt and cheesy romantic also comes from Princess Bride being a love story! So, he's got the sense of humor & drama of Inigo Montoya but the undying loyalty of Westley!

💎 Do you ever see yourself killing off the OC? (Armaros)

Not particularly honestly! I could though if it was compelling enough (such as at the hands of another party member). Armaros is one of my characters whom I very much do not have a set "end state" for because of the nature of their story!

I wanna let Armaros' fate be decided by how the GM and the party push them to act for sure ^^

🍀 What originally inspired the OC? (Tiarnán)

I think I've gone into how Tiarnan is basically an AU of an NPC I really liked and didn't get to play enough in my own setting! But as far as fleshing him out goes, Tiarnan's extremely inspired by Vash the Stampede from Trigun as far as his core ethics go. He wants everyone to live, to be kind, and for there to be peace. He's unwilling to use force to do it, but if he has to he will, all while still trying not to kill and permanently hurt people.

And of course, like Vash, he played a role in a massive tragedy that cost lots of people their life :))))))) (Which I won't spoil Trigun, but there's a reason Vash has an 80 billion double dollar bounty lol)

👃 : Does your OC smell good? Do they have a signature scent?

SDGKHDFKGJH NO LMAO. When he was a mortal, it was sweat and booze and sometimes blood. Now, as a kindred, it's probably his leather clothing on a night off (fuck yeah)! Blood on a busy night probably though. (How much of it is his??? ehhhh up for debate. Last time it was Jesse's.)

Coming home from a work night though? Oh god, I'm sorry to Inigo's roommates who are high enough humanity to smell the horse and alcohol from the Tournament of Kings. (Given the fact that they're into the knight thing though...maybe they don't mind. Especially because Inigo simply adores Llamrei so much.)

👂 : Does your OC have an attractive voice?

I think he does! The closest thing I have to a "voice claim" for Inigo is Crispin Freeman as Alucard but with a Catalan accent. (Apologies for the quality on the video). It's got a nice low rumble to his voice :]

💞 : Do they treat sex casually or do they view it as something with a lot of emotional weight?

Depends how much Inigo thinks his partner means to him! He's definitely capable of extremely casual sex. But as he's been able to explore more serious romantic relationships, he's been experiencing it with more emotional weight for the first time :] As it turns out, when he doesn't have to spend his sex life having to pretending he is any combination of heterosexual, not-a-vampire, and/or not-a-caitiff, not having to do that is insanely emotionally freeing.

🔥 : What’s a surefire way to make your OC get flustered?

All the players already know, but genuine affection that catches Inigo off-guard! You can say all the raunchy shit in the world to Inigo and he'll be cool as a cucumber and play along, but if you tell that guy you love him exactly as he is he'll turn into a puddle on the spot.

Or be Valentina and say literally anything raunchy I guess. Inigo gets weird about Valentina because she's something he feels he can't or shouldn't have. She inspires this weird need for him to be mildly modest around her for some reason.

🧸 : Into public displays of affection or are they more reserved?

AH THE AGONY OF THIS QUESTION!!! Inigo would love to be more publicly affectionate, but given that most of his relationships are queer and himself and most of his partners have some level of fame...they have to keep it on the down low. Inigo's definitely got some internalized fear of being ostracized by homophobes because of the time & place he was born in.

Inigo DID get to go on an incognito date with his Tzmiscie boyfriend Bren (hi Link!) where they were both fleshcrafted and THAT was a treat for him! The simple fact that he got to experience dancing with another man he loved in public was queer joy Inigo did not know he needed.

💐 : What is their courting style? How would they woo someone?

I think for most people, the knightly charm tends to work wonders, so that's what Inigo goes for! Lots of flirting and suggestive jokes so long as the other party seems receptive.

If he's really interested, Inigo tends to go above and beyond being sweet. He does shit like bringing people flowers from his work (since he gets a bunch of favors as the oh-so-charming Sir Mordred), remembering important dates, etc. Either that or being an annoying little shit, ask Willow or Martel how they know.

From the WIP Tag Game, tell me about Kabedon Attempt, Cling, and Murder. >)

👀👀👀 THANK YOU FOR THE ASK!!!!

SO. Kabedon Attempt and Cling are both ship arts for Willow xD (who's surprised there lolol) Neither of those are far along at all, really just 3d models and the very beginnings of a sketch, BUT! to explain them:

The kabedon one is Willow trying to, well, kabedon Inigo and the idea was that she'd be flustered but really trying to be all cool lol

Cling is Willow kinda posing with Valentina, who is clinging to/pretty much draping herself over Willow and looking very smug about it

Murder I'll actually show the sketch of since I got farther with it, but it was an image/meme redraw that I just had too strong of a mental image to not do it. It isn't as relevant anymore since at least Willow's feelings towards Darios have shifted. slightly. (thanks partly to the vinculum lmaoooo) BUT yeah I still wanna finish it anyway bc it's funny to me lmao

From the WIP game!! Tell me about "Playing Favorites 2 WIP" and the Darios memoriam piece 👁️Share some actual WIPs from 'em if ur comfy doing so! <3

YEAHHH!!! Playing Favorites 2 is a follow-up to Playing Favorites! The original piece was a little drabble of my Wrath of the Righteous party at camp, exploring a little character moment in which one of the companions (Sosiel) had expressed interest in Caedrinn. Cae just didn't have the heart to fully turn him down. Playing favorites 2 is continuing that plotline, but instead of Just Talking To Sosiel, Caedrinn is a dummy who talks to Daeran about it.

Daeran puts a finger up to the knight commander’s mouth to shush him, focusing a moment more on healing before he answers. “He knew this was a possibility when he started courting you. You’ll shatter the poor boy’s heart into even more pieces the longer you let him go with this.” He stops and curses under his breath, this arrow is more stubborn than the previous one. “I know, I just…I just don't get why he's interested in me, he deserves so much better," Caedrinn sighs, slumping down slightly. “So you prefer men that are mean to you?" Daeran smirks wickedly, lightly flicking the arrow still lodged in Caedrinn's shoulder. “Ow!” Caedrinn recoils, pulling back and clutching his arm. “You didn’t have to-” he starts, then gives up and just shakes his head.

AAAAAND!!! Darios Memoriam!!!

That one's from a one-shot session we played that was a memoriam segment for Inigo's sire, Darios! (Which Inigo canonically has the memories of so that's fun!) It was basically a big old hunger games tournament between freshly embraced kindred, with the only requirement that Darios ended up winning because That's Just How The Canon Goes. I had the honor of playing Darios, since, well, he's Inigo's sire!

Basically, it ended with Darios trying to resist his terrible sire's want for only 1 survivor to make it out, and being forced to diablerize a very young teen who was embraced. Aaaaand then had to fight a dragon with naught but a dagger.

Unfortunately for Darios' sire, Darios won, then drank the dragon's blood and went a little mad on it and ended up diablerizing him too!

Anyway that's how Darios ended up with Lucita as his adoptive sire in our WoD.

I'm not quite happy with how Darios is drawn in this, something about the line quality isn't what I want, so I might end up just starting this piece fresh at some point.

"Bro you've scheduled too many things, you need a break". Will I listen? Hopefully one day! But unfortunately I also have a need to keep to obligations I said I'd do xD So. You know, I probably need to say no more often to doing things, lol.

what's a piece of advice you would give to yourself five years ago?

Probably that I'm not actually innately annoying, and to just go say hi to friends, and talk more about things I love. I've been trying really hard to be more confident because I used to be when I was a lot younger, and that definitely got eroded away over the years. (ngl, haven't figured out why, but might be nice to sometime lol)

What's a small fact about being a kindred that they dislike?

Do they prefer mortal or kindred company when it comes to everynight existence?

What's a small fact about being a kindred that they dislike?

I mentioned over here that he misses eating, but he definitely also doesn't like how hard it is to travel now. He'd love to go sightseeing and get a feel for the rest of the world outside Vegas, but balancing that with safety is such a pain. The guy just had how big skyscrapers actually are explained to him last session, and they didn't even make churches that tall back then.

Do they prefer mortal or kindred company when it comes to everynight existence?

That's honestly a tough one for Inigo! On one hand, he can be a bit less on-guard with mortals, but with kindred he doesn't have to awkwardly fumble around how behind the times he is.

If he's just trying to do his thing and exist, going to work or walking around, he'd prefer mortals. At least with them, he can have consistent expectations and slip away easily enough, as opposed to other kindred.
