thinking autistically (again) abt computer viruses and the different classifications + types of malware that exist and what Kinito (in-universe) would fall under… and considering kinitos sentience, it makes it a bit more complicated to figure out

i think- if we disregard the sentience -the website would have malware, or maybe the pc were given in-game is already infected w/ the code or something, somehow.

but if we uninstall Kinito or get a completely different computer, the likelihood of him following us there is extremely low (unless the network youre connected to in-universe is the thing thats infected).

i think Kinito would fall under the category of a PUP (potentially-unwanted program).

im no expert and am going off our shared knowledge but yeag. since Kinito is essentially sentient BonziBuddy that tries to actively participate in your life, he could be a PUP, or some other kind of virus.

i dont think that he could be something worse or even “dangerous”, though, since he cant exactly destroy your computer, just rifle around in your files and control bits and pieces of your pc. you do have to give him explicit permission to do that, after all, so ultimately its your L if you give him admin perms lol
