I like designing characters see, and I’m mostly struck by ideas that hit me in my sleep, like a murder mystery story involving a police officer, her doctor mento-figure and a blind kid who go around solving crimes as an unstoppable force.

....And then never do anything with it, ever...

So I’mma rectify this. I’ve had artblock recently, so I think It’s about time I pull out a drawing prompt that I’m gonna be using on these three. But of course, despite how random these prompts may be, lets start with a few introductions. From left to right, we’ve got...

Kirsty “Kirst” James-Lynn Wyatt Date of Birth: 10/JUN/2021 Age: 26 Height: 180cm/5’11” Bio: Head detective for the Police Department of beautiful New Vangelos City, the economic capital of the world. Despite her age, she’s managed to fly through her ranks, following in her father, the former District Chief’s footsteps. She’s got a mean temper, and a worse drive for revenge that can cloud her judgement. She broods a lot and has issues opening up, but she’ll stop at nothing to protect the innocent (and to lay down a few sarcastic burns here and there). Her pastimes include sleeping, sparring and ‘ironically’ (No one believes her) watching really corny soaps on TV.

Sykes Alexis Dewitt Date of Birth: 05/APR/2034 Age: 13 Height: 142cm/4’8” Bio: At just 13, and in his final year of high-school, he is a prodigal child, and the son of New Vangelos’ Mayor, Tom Dewitt. He’s bound by his morals, and an extreme stickler for the rules. He maintains being a proper, upstanding citizen above all else. Thanks to his father he is well-versed in arguments, public speaking and politics, but yearns to be more creative and artistic. Being legally blind dampens his choices, but he enjoys writing stories as a hobby, as well as cooking and music.

Torren Erna Cassel Date of Birth: 02/DEC/1993 Age: 53 Height: 188cm/6’2” Bio:  Kirst’s mentor for her police training, and a long-time family friend. He entered the academy along with former Chief Wyatt, Kirst’s father, and became a Forensics Specialist after a few years on the force. He’s a little stoic, not too outspoken -- only reigning Kirst in when he has to -- and will often take a second to respond, but he’s quite eloquent and knows how to put an argument to rest. He enjoys camping, fishing and the outdoors, particularly spending an afternoon out with his wife and two daughters.
