AHAHAHA, you came to mind first, but I was like “WHAT IF IT WAS ANOTHER BANE.” Thank you! It’s a massive set, I could make a truly Harvest Festival number of mooncakes if I had the fillings! As is I will attempt to make as many different visual kinds as possible.

Ah yes, we've been using the term 'wet signature' for a few years now.

Yeah, I’m hearing it’s not exactly new from folks in the legal/mortgage profession, which just goes to show you that secretly lawyers and bankers are super weird. :D

I survived! No definitive answers yet, but I only threw up once! So that’s something! I am looking forward to a full night of sleep! Anyway, I will keep you all in the loop if things develop further, but all y’all are lovely, and I hope it’s been a good day for people, and that tomorrow is better and kinder.

Not to be that person, but Polk is my favorite.

I love them both equally, but it’s a little easier to love Polk equally given she’s way less afraid to look directly at me. :D

if Polk is anything like my cat you really want to stick to routine feeding times :D or she will forever be wasting away for lack of wet food (even if there is kibble available) and letting you know it... in the morning 2h before you are supposed to get up

I have been genuinely worried because I give them just a little wet food in the morning and evening, and the rest of the time there’s kibble, but they haven’t been eating the kibble and instead have been begging shamelessly every time I’m in the kitchen. It made me concerned that the kibble was too big or crunchy for their tiny baby teeth and I wasn’t giving them enough wet food. (Really I’ve been genuinely worried because I have anxiety and I don’t want to fuck these poor living creatures up. They’re fine. I know they’re fine.) 

But I also know cats are goddamn drama queens. :D 

But I found a good compromise: I sprinkled their food with a bit of chicken stock (homemade, so no sodium, just water that chicken trimmings were boiled in) and that helped.

Polk isn’t food insecure about wet food or kibble, but I did notice that she growled at both me and Dearborn over the chicken. Not sure what’s to be done about that yet, I’ll keep an eye on it.

(And I have no problem with being 39.  ^_^  Kind of looking forward to it, actually.  Especially because, you know... 3^2=9 and I’M A TOTAL MATH GEEK, so these things make me happy.  ;D  Although how it is that I’m now 10 years older than my mom, I’m not quite sure...)

I like that one, too!  Like I said, I’m having a terrible time choosing.  O_o;;;  Anyway, they’re 4 mm thick, which is a nice in-between kind of thickness, I think?  The link to the website is on the original post, if you want to read more about them.  ^_^
