Kitty Boys initial concepts (1 / 4): Fluffy
Here's the first time I colored the kitty boy Fluffy!
He's the brawny one, supposed to be loosely based off the Siamese cat with lots of extra fluff. (His paw pads are now dark instead of pink.)
Kitty Boys initial concepts (2 / 4): Cuddles
Here’s the first time I colored the kitty boy Cuddles!
He’s your basic tuxedo/bicolor cat. I figured this popular coat would be good to use on a main character. He's a lot more pointy with purple hues in his design ever since I formulated a more solid art style.
Kitty Boys initial concepts (3 / 4): Buddy
Here’s the first time I colored the kitty boy Buddy!
This guy is the only kitty person (of the main cast) to have curled ears. Like the other two, Buddy's design changed when I figured out a style that connects the cats' hair to their body fur. I wanted the hair on their head to look less like a random section of different fur and more like a smooth transition to the body. I do miss this design though. ^w^ He’s a lot more red now!!
~ A brand new webcomic is coming soon! ~
Stay tuned... I’ll be posting screenshots, WIPs, and other info as I progress towards publishing the comic!
You can also check it out on Facebook here at Kitty Boys Comic!!
There’s extra goodies on my Instagram as well if you’re interested here!!
Kitty Boys initial concepts (4 / 4): Curtis
Here’s the first time I colored the main human character Curtis!
I knew I definitely wanted a glasses character. Plus, facial scars are always cool, right? Sure...
Here’s some cool progress screenshots. Cell shading is like filling in your own coloring book that you made, right? Btw check out those brush settings, I always use that one for blending. Good stuff.
