MASTERLIST REQUEST RULES
He is the most sober one. He is the medic. That is why they sent him to the vet with this hurt loth cat Fives found in a dark alley.
Kix should be annoyed or even angry but it is almost a golden rule for him and his brothers to get in some kind of trouble after a night at 79s. So he accepts his fate and follows the kind nurse.
Together they enter an examination room and Kix‘ breath halts for a few seconds as he catches sight of a gorgeous veterinarian. His legs stop too and he stand inside the door frame like an idiot. Quickly, the clone medic gets a grip on himself and walks to the table in the middle of the room.
“Hello“, the female vet greets him with an angelic voice and holds out her hand. Kix takes it and reads her name tag: (Y/n). He opens his mouth but the nurse already explains what happened to the cat.
Fives found her in an alley way with a broken paw and almost starved to death.
“Then let‘s take a look“, (Y/n) says and turns towards the table on which the animals is sitting wrapped in Fives shirt. Carefully, she uncovers the loth cat and palpates its whole body. The moment she touches his front paw, the cat hisses angrily.
“The paw is indeed broken. And he hasn‘t eaten in a while, probably a stray“, the vet tells and looks up to Kix who is still standing a little dumbstruck from her beauty and kindness towards a clone.
“Where exactly did you find him?“, (Y/n) asks and turns to a cabinet full of medication. Kix describes her the exact spot where they lost Fives and then found him with the animal in his arms.
The veterinarian returns with two full needles and at that sight the loth cat panics. Fives shirt gets shred to nothing but a few fragments and then the cat tries to run. Fortunately, Kix is quick enough to pin the anxious animal to the table. Although the loth cat is fighting back the clone medic tries not to use much of his strength.
“Thank you“, (Y/n) says with a smile and takes the cap off the first injection. Both needles contains disappear in the loth cat and it finally stops resisting.
“You can take a break. I have great help here“, the vet tells her nurse who nods with a wide grin. Before she can leave the room, Kix asks her to get his brothers some water. They need it after they drank so much alcohol in the clone bar. Especially Fives.
The nurse exits the room and (Y/n) turns towards the trash bin to throw away the empty syringes. The shattering sound of the needles meeting the floor echos through the room. Kix widens his eyes as he watches the vet reach for the broken pieces. Her fingers touch the sharp glass and (Y/n) groans in pain.
“Let me help you“, Kix says and bends over to take the broken needles in his gloved hands. They land in the bin and the clone medic looks with worry in his eyes at the female. She holds her left hand close to her chest and Kix can see blood running over her hands.
“Take a seat“, the clone says and pulls the next chair towards her. While (Y/n) takes a seat, Kix takes off his gloves because there could be little shards in there.
“Can you tell me where you have your medi-pack?“, Kix asks as he turns to look for it himself. (Y/n) points to a cabinet where he finds it quite quickly.
“Sorry, this never happened before“, the vet tries to explain and lowers her ashamed gaze to the floor. She must look like the worst vet.
“There is nothing you have to be sorry for. You look very tired which must be the reason for this“, Kix assures her and kneels in front of her, taking her injured hand in his.
“The other vet quit this morning so I had to take a double shift“, (Y/n) states and watches Kix first clean and then bandage her hand. It still hurts which means working will be ten times harder.
Kix returns the medi-pack to the cabinet. He expects (Y/n) to still sit on the chair as he turns around but instead she is carrying bacta patches to the half-asleep loth cat.
“Hey! I can do that“, the clone medic tells her and quickly takes the patches from her. (Y/n) looks at him with wide eyes. Why would he want to help her?
“Just take a seat and tell me what to do“, Kix adds and watches (Y/n) sit next to the loth cat on the examination table. She tells him step by step what to do and the clone does exactly that.
“Thank you“, (Y/n) whispers after Kix placed the cat in a cage with a fluffy blanket inside. He smiles at the vet and leans against the table next to her, but not to close to be inappropriate.
“We medics have to stick together“, Kix announces with a smile and after a few minutes of silence he feels a pressure against his shoulder. (Y/n) fell asleep against his probably uncomfortable shoulder plate.

A/N: Hi y’all Happy Halloween (if you celebrate it!) I’m back again with another fic! This time it’s everyone’s favorite medic! Fair warning, a little bit of spice (because it mentions leading to something), but mostly cute and fluffy!
“Shhh. Just stop.” He says to you, voice laced with authority. All you can do is look up at him, with eyes as wide as saucers. You don’t know what you’ve done or said that would make him want to shush you.
“Kix?” You question, brows furrowed.
He silences you once again. But this time, not with his words. You feel his soft lips upon your own. The fire behind the kiss causes a whine to escape your lips. You can feel Kix smirk at the noise he draws from you as he moves away from you. He enjoys how you follow his movements, intoxicated by his presence.
“If that’s all I needed to do to get you to stop over-thinking, I should do that more often.” He says, amusement evident on his face.
“Please do.” You say as you crash your lips onto his. Bracing himself for the contact, one of his hands grabs your waist, and the other holding on to the back of your leg, keeping you as close to him as possible, as his back hits the wall.
His lips leave yours to trail kisses from your mouth to your neck when you hear his commlink go off. Groaning, he ignores the noise and continues leaving a trail of kisses along your neck, slowly making his way back to your lips.
It isn’t until he hears a voice come through the commlink that he stops.
“Kix.” Jesse’s voice floats in the space around you.
Kix lets out a sigh before he moves his hand away from your waist. You rest your forehead into the crook of his shoulder.
“What?” Kix asks, and you know that Jesse can hear how irritated his brother is.
“We’ve got a briefing, and we’re needed on the bridge in 10.”
“I’ll be there.” Kix says, as he ends the transmission. Moving your head away from his shoulder, Kix leans down and presses his forehead to yours.
“Go.” Your voice is barely above a whisper and giving him a chaste kiss to his lips. “I’ll be here when you get back.”
He releases his grip on your leg, letting your feet touch the ground again.
“You’ll be waiting for me in a supply closet?” Kix questions, a smile forms on his face.
Shaking your head, you laugh. “No, I mean I’ll me waiting for you. Not that I’ll be in a supply closet waiting for you, you di’kut!”
“What if I want you to wait for me in a supply closet?”
“I have more important things to do and I can’t be waiting for you in a supply closet.”
Kix scoffs at your words. “Well then, I guess I better go.” He says softly.
“Yeah.”
But neither of you makes any move to leave. The two of you are taking in the fact that you’re together; being in a supply closet doesn’t many any change to how rare it was for the two of you to be alone.
A knock on the door has the two of you jumping. The door opens to reveal Jesse.
“I knew it!” He says smugly.
“You just wish it was you in a supply closet.” You say to him.
“Are you offering?” Jesse asks.
“Not a chance.” Kix interjects, “get your own person Jesse.”
Jesse laughs and makes room for the two of you to get out of the closet.
“Who says I don’t got one?” Jesse says with a wink. You roll your eyes. You know exactly who he’s talking about.
“Now don’t worry,” Jesse says, “this one will return back to you in no time. Now give each other one last kiss and then we have to go.”
The two of you stare at him.
“Oh, alright,” Jesse huffs, “I’ll turn around. Give you some sense of privacy.”
Kix rolls his eyes but plants a kiss to your forehead. “I’ll see you soon.”
“I’ll be waiting,” you say giving his hand a squeeze.
“Jesse,” you say, and the man turns back to the two of you.
“Yes?” he says.
“Try not to get into any trouble.”
“No promises.” He says and the two of them start walking away from you.
Once the two are a few paces away from you, Kix turns around and calls out your name. Looking up at him, you raise an eyebrow.
“Yes?” You ask.
“Meet me in the supply closet when I get back. Y’know, the one closest to the hangar.” He says with a wink and walks away.
Jesse laughs at the shock on your face, and soon the shock morphs into embarrassment. Jesse comes over to you and pats you on the shoulder.
“Don’t worry, I’ll make sure he makes it to the supply closet.”
Bonus scene
“Meet me in the supply closet, the one closest to the hangar.” You mutter under your breath. You couldn’t believe you are in said supply closet waiting for your favorite medic.
A knock on the door before it opens to reveal Kix pulls you away from your thoughts.
“Maker, I’ve missed you.” He says before drawing you close to him. All thoughts of words or anything leaves your brain at the searing kiss he gives you.
You will never look at that supply closet the same again.
Not sure if anyone who reads/read my clone wars fic even follows me on here, but I finally figured out what the final scene to the fic is gonna be, and I'm feeling excited/inspired about writing the last bit of it for the first time in months! I feel so bad for leaving people on a cliffhanger for...nine months, especially with so few chapters left until the end, but this is all for fun at the end of the day! I'm just happy to have lessened my writers block and to have ideas again :)
My Kix fic is officially 15,000 words—wtf! In honour of that, here's an evil snippet from the last chapter I wrote, featuring a Fives flashback.
The fic is from Kix's perspective (for the most part) and follows him as he tries to save Fives and stop Order 66 from happening after Force Shenanigans send him back in time to the day Fives dies.
Also, for anyone interested: I'm planning on publishing the first (!!) chapter of the fic on ao3 on May 1st!
