this is the worst. || open;
[ how did it honestly come to this. he was literally having such a great time on earth as it is but no, he just had to go off and join lance on his crazy adventure to fight off aliens in space as a big, giant robot cat!
...but then again-- it wasn’t so bad of an experience either. his new friends have become some sort of family to him at this point and it was sometimes kind of fun when they went off to fight the aliens. especially when they aren’t almost going to get killed! and if lance went off alone that night... he would have been worried sick about him the entire time either way.
well, at least that’s what hunk thought since it couldn’t possibly get any worse than this, right?
it definitely gets worse.
he totally did not expect that last part during that battle with zarkon.
how the quiznak did all of them get separated into wormholes suddenly?!
and also-- WHERE THE HECK IS HE RIGHT NOW?!
before he could even try to process anything when he woke up, a strange creature started talking to him about stuff that he couldn’t exactly fit into his already jumbled brain and his wrist was glowing blue which only added up more to his anxiety.
whatever this was, it was most definitely worse than being a paladin because this time... he was all alone.
just as he was about to ask the weird creature where he was, his wrist that had been glowing blue suddenly glows brighter and begins relaying a short message that also does not process well into his brain. He hastily takes hold of the sports wear and water bottles given to him, feeling his stomach do weird flips in confusion.
Not going to lie but... he’s been wanting to do that ever since he got here.
But once the message gives him the signal to go and the doors open for him to leave-- all he suddenly wants to do is anything but run. ]
“ARE THOSE GUNS? DO THOSE MONSTER THINGS HAVE GUNS?” [he yells out for the first time since he got here, clinging onto his things in absolute fear. yeah, they’re guns but they’re just waterguns, hunk. nobody answers him in reality though since now he only realizes that-- he’s outside and where he came from is completely sealed shut. ] “...You have got to be kidding me.”
[ nope. no jokes. just run, idiot.
and with that, the yellow paladin gathers all his things properly once more and stuffs them into a bag given to him, leaving out the bouncy ball launcher and the map directing him home.
he skims through the map and memorizes the path he has to take before shoving the damn thing into his pocket and staring at the road before him in fear. god. everything is an obstacle course, what the hell. ]
“You know-- I was never really, uhm, the best at PE...” [ he says to no one in particular as he raises his weapon, gulping down every piece of courage he had left. ]
“IS THERE SERIOUSLY NO ONE AROUND TO HELP ME? AT ALL? SERIOUSLY?”
