MISSION: GO HOME!! ... START!
Everything still felt like a blur to him. After being granted “life” again after hundreds of years, only to end up in a strange city, a strange title given to him, a strange marking on his wrist that wouldn’t come off... It was all a blur.
Iwatooshi found himself missing Benkei more and more and more and more by the second. Perhaps Benkei was out here! Perhaps he was here in this city, in this district even... No, no, Iwatooshi, don’t get your hopes up.
“MISSION START” read on his wrist, floating above the scar in technological writing. It was curious, he had to admit, but it didn’t amuse him at all.
It was then that he heard the gunfire. What? What? The naginata braced himself, holding his pointy stick close to his chest (what a mistake! could he even do damage with this thing?!), but he felt nothing but a prick and a trickle of water. Opening one eye, then the other, he looked down, and a “Gomorin”...that was what they were called, right?...pointed a water gun at him.
Another popped up behind the one, and another, and another, each with another fantastical water gun, until it finally got down to the actual machinery. Iwatooshi grit his teeth. Looks like he was doing this the hard way.
The naginata yelled out, “Have you come to amuse me?! You’re doing a poor job at it!” and he jumped, he leapt, he did, until the big boots he wore came down onto the first Gomorin, and the stick smashed into the second one’s squishy head.
He could see the last Gomorin, the one with an actual gun, from here, and he was mildly surprised to see that the gun wasn’t pointed at him, a sitting duck, an easy target, but as he followed the Gomorin’s line of sight...at someone hiding behind a barricade to the left.
“Hey!” he screamed, lifting the stick again and heading onto the next Gomorin. “Watch out! Watch out! Move already!”
