I keep seeing people compare byler to other ships like destiel, and other queerbait ships, that’s cool whatever, theorize all you want; but the one I’m here to defend is klance.

The main difference between byler and klance is that stranger things isn’t a legacy series, which Voltron is, so there isn’t a bunch of Gen X’ers that’ll get super mad that you made their favorite characters gay, and that their childhood is ruined.

Also, I don’t think that they’d pull a klance and fire the people who wanted to make it canon, because I’m pretty sure the people who want to make byler canon are the Duffers themselves, and I don’t really think you can fire them lmao.

All I’m saying is we shouldn’t have to worry about this situation happening, as a second gen klancer (my mom shipper them when she watched DotU) and a byler shipper, I think we’ll be fine.

Tbh a lot of people are upset about the way Keith justified why he choose Lance in the feud but I interpret it exactly the same way Lance reacted when Keith mentioned the bonding moment. He is just embarrassed and tries to cover it up.

For the bonding moment, Keith mentions it, while facing Lance and Lance immediately goes "no, nope, didn't happen" and stopped facing Keith. He looks by the side.

For the feud, Lance was being extremely honest and complimented Keith. Keith wasn't expecting that at all and suddenly became embarrassed: Lance is being kind with him and highly compliment him "he is the future". I mean this is big coming from Lance. So Keith became aware that he choose Lance and that they choose each other and after what Lance said, I don't think he was ready to face it yet. Here again, he doesn't face Lance but looks by the side while Lance is looking at him.
