hello anon! thank you for asking, we always appreciate asks<3 first off, your more likely to resonate with xenogenders if your neurodivergent. Xenogenders themselves were made for autistic people. But being autistic / neurodivergent does not mean you automatically use xenogenders, of course! it just means your more likely :)

another thing is that you may find your gender feels empty. your gender may be able to be described as non-binary, or as slightly a boy, but that may just not be ENOUGH to fill your "gender tank" up. Genders available may also just never fit you, and you may feel the need to describe your gender with these xenogenders.

you may also find yourself saying things like, "this flag is so gender", or "this object is so gender" or just generally experience yourself getting abnormal gender envy from things, such as how hands look, candy, a certain aesthetic, etc. xenogenders can extend to almost anything, so always look into your gender envy, gender dysphoria, and more and keep questioning! everyone deserve to feel happy and comfortable within their own body and gender.

to know if your a certain xenogender, all that is really required is that you feel like your gender has a connection to the media the xenogender is about or you feel your gender could be described by the media depicted in the xenogender.
