Knitting hack: when I only have to do a set of instructions every other round, I get out a spare stitch marker. During the “active” round it sits in front of me on the table, reminding me to do the increases. When I hit the end of the round, I slip it on the needle. No stitch marker friend? No increases. And when I get back to it, I slip it off again.
