So, a question from today's Youtube Livestream was: 'how do you know how deep to make a hat?'

The long answer: it depends on a lot of things, including your tension, and your own personal preference (I like my hats to cover my ears and come low down on the back of my neck).

That said, a shorter answer can be found in this guide to hat sizing over on the Knit Picks Website!

They give guidance for both hat circumference and hat height, which can be really helpful, especially if you're knitting a hat for someone else and can't just have them try it on!
