I MADE A TUTORIAL VIDEO on what tricks I use in MS paint to create and then delete sketch, and also to make coloring easier!
here are the examples of what kind of art pieces I made using these techniques [1] [2] [3]
youd ask me - but Ruta, why using MS paint to draw, when you could use some normal more complex drawing programs? And yeah I do use more advanced progs too
but
MS paint is fun!!! also the tiny amount of options is surprisingly freeing - like its very nice to just sketch in there, i like it
You can get surprisingly used to uncomfortable things. Clothes that don’t quite fit right. Chairs shaped to someone else’s body. Constant tiny concessions to a world built for Most, not All
When i was a kid i had a pair of hockey skates that were a touch too small. My toes were a little squished but they fit so i wore them for a whole season. And by the end, the skates felt fine
Because the skates had changed the shape of my feet
My toes got so used to being pressed together in the skates that they just.. started to stay that way outside of skates too
Something not quite fitting and just dealing with it seems like an inconsequential decision, but it can have compounding effects in the long run
It’s the same with gender. Sometimes they just don’t fit right. It might be a perfect fit for someone else, but that doesn’t mean it fits you. And ‘making do’ with a bad gender fit is not only uncomfortable but potentially damaging
Drown
Do you ever feel like this? kicking. as hard as you can…
for as long as you can… but it's just not doing anything…
no one notices. or if they do they quite frankly don't care. "It's not my job to save them!" afterall Your lungs fill with water As the people around you continue on.
No one notices. No one cares. You can't tell which one. They're busy. Living the life you sacrificed your floaties for. That's good! right?
You should be happy for them! That they're carrying on without you. while the water slowly pulls you away.
It's not worth the energy to fight it.
If you're lucky, She'll get bored and let you go.
Give you the chance to swim back to shore. Taste the air once again. If you're special. (Or smart.) She'll never grab you again. Or maybe you'll drown.
She'll hold you here tight, Crushing your windpipe With salt water and sand Your lungs and stomach will fill. You'll yearn for air, For the hot summer breeze But it won't come.
Food will be obsolete. You don't need it. The water has it all. The volume The weight And all the nutrients you'll need To survive the next 237 seconds.
If you live, If someone finds you, Helps you, Notices you're gone, Will you go back? Risk death
Will the possibility of someone Saving you Finding you, Helping you, Noticing you, Keep your kicking and screaming As your lungs fill and burn?
Or will you be like me? Accept it. Give up. Drown quietly Like the statistics say I will.
Or be better. Die loud. Die fighting. Die screaming to be noticed,
Even if at the end, It was all futile.
