Been listening to Smalltown Boy the past few days just on repeat over and over again and thinking about the tragedy that is Mike Wheeler and I'm in pain but I just can't stop listening to this song!!! It's too good!!!!

#it's so good i love it so much #this is one of those songs that i just know randomly from my childhood cause it would be played on the radio or my parents would play it #but i never pain any attention to it and it was just one of those songs i know since i was little #*paid #but it was never really special to me or anything like that #but then i saw it associated with mike and at first just from the title i didn't even know what song it could be and i thought i wouldn't #know it #and then i listened to it like for the first time actually listened to the song and thought about mike and now this song means so much to me #like i'll never hear this song the same way again i'll always be thinking about mike and the painnn but also just mike and how good this #song is and fits him #and i honestly really love when that happens to me #like when i just know a song casually but i wouldn't really think to put it in my playlist like it's just some random radio song to me #and then it gets associated with a show or movie or character that i love and suddenly the song is so much more special to me #and i for the first time actually Listen to it and they lyrics and the music itself #and i realize how GOOD the song actually is #i love when that happens i love it so so much!!!!!#it opens my eyes to so many great songs #i love discovering that something i've just kind of always known is actually really really good and fun and special #best feeling ever best way to dicover new old music <333 #also i have to say #stranger things for sure did do one thing and that's making me realize how good and fun 80s music is #i never really thought about that before either but damn it's SO GOOD I NEED MORE #lea's random thoughts #stranger things #mike wheeler #need to draw mike fanart to the lyrics of the song soooo badlyyyy #art inspo #byler #mike queerler #mike wheeler is gay
