Miss you family (c)
The Last Dance. Jason Hehir. 2020
As I sit back in my car being chauffeured to work this morning , I asked myself ;what is the meaning of #mambamentality and who was Kobe Bryant?
I picked up this book on Saturday and just through the first few pages, I began to pick up wisdom on how to tweak my lifestyle as a Global business leader. I know I know , some of you may say but Prince you’re just the CEO of a small business in Ghana. My response, Watch this space 👊🏾👊🏾 , God is about to make an example of me like he did with Joshua.
This book has so many great lessons .
For me , the most profound lesson was that to succeed , you need to share your vision and long your family and team on what is required to achieve that goal. Kobe did not succeed on his own, his family and team mates had to go along with him on that journey. Everyone around him was aware of his burning desire to manifest his vision. He had to sacrifice and put in the work, but so did the people around him. Kobe pushed his team mates to levels beyond understanding but they took it because he led by example. The guy literally continued to play a game with a broken finger.
We all hear about hard work and the latest thing is working smart. The real question is , what amount of hard and smart work needs to be done? Kobe practiced from 6am before his team’s practice time at 8am. If you know anything about professional athletes , you’ll know that to do this would be to push your body beyond comfortable limits.
Kobe’s Mamba mentality did not surprise me, what it did was to inspire me to be better , to push beyond the pain, to cut through the resistance towards excellence and to tweak my style regularly to see what worked. Kobe was an athlete who did not leave us only looking at his games but has inspired a generation to dig deep into our core and produce greatness! Kobe Bryant you are a LEGEND! You truly have inspired greatness. RIP #legend #kobebryant
Damn....😔
I am not a fan of basketball but I do know Kobe was one of the greats . Rest in peace. May your family find peace as well. #lakers #kobebryant https://www.instagram.com/p/B7y8kh9Hadr/?igshid=inoyaymvu70g

We must push ourselves to be the best we can be everyday. We must push off the temptation of excuses, laziness, and self-righteousness. We must humble ourselves and push ourselves to become more. We must set…
