               The moment a young voice replied to her words of frustration, Lihwa couldn’t help but clench her teeth so hard that it could hurt. How could she- No; How dare she utter such nonsense in front of a kid? A one that seemed to be wiser than her the grown up woman.

     Putting aside her thoughts, she turned to have a look at her company; What a young, beautiful soul she was. A smile was brought up to her tired features, taking a few steps just so she could sit beside the white-haired girl. Her hand reached a single flower to pick it up, and so she started to do what was suggested to her.

     “Forgive me, my dear,” she started, parting one petal off the rose she held in her cold hands. It felt soft, warm, and strangely satisfying to hold and watch. “I was lost, but your words brought me back to reality. Thank you.” Just as her words left her rosy lips, she blew off the petal, and her hand was placed on the girl’s head, giving her hair a few gentle strokes.
