The Escalade had dents, cracks, and scratches all over, but it still ran. The Durango that chased Sergio and company, however, was likely still sinking in the East River. Sergio was young, but it was far from the first time he'd been involved in a car chase, whether as the pursuer or the pursued. He carried himself with the poise of a true professional wheelman.

Felix was the complete opposite. The triads shot the truck a dozen times, but not a single one of them pierced the exterior. Even when a stray bullet hit a tire, Sergio hit a button on the dashboard that reinflated it while on the move. When the first bullet hit, Felix looked as if she'd seen a ghost. He figured that with Felix's background, it wasn't the first time she'd heard gunfire or had gotten shot at. Once they were safe, Sergio immediately asked if she was all right.

When she answered, Sergio hugged her, slowly running his fingers through her hair. "It's aight. We safe now," he whispered. "The sound a' guns scare ya?" He didn't sound derisive in the slightest, but rather concerned.

He did all that in front of the Brandos. Ariadna, meanwhile, walked around the truck, assessing the damage.

Prompt: Edo Tensei

I think it would be really interesting if Iruka's mom was reanimated and made to fight against him-- but instead of fighting him, her will is strong enough that she is able to flee instead (or at least attempt to)

Kohari Umino is wonderful and I wish we got to see more of her being the wonderful mother I know she is 😔❤

I'm not too nuts about this piece, but I like the concept of it 😌

A moment of silence in appreciation to Kohari Umino. Bless her and thank her for being a wonderful mother and bringing her precious son Iruka Umino to the world.

I've been chatting with the wonderful @mytsukkishine on discord a bit, and their profile picture is Marceline from adventure time!! I love Marcy and one of my favorite songs she/Olivia Olson sings is "everything stays" (Click here to listen if you're interested). I thought, since we've been discussing Kohari Umino (Iruka's mom), I'd sketch something out relating to the lyrics!! It's a VERY rough sketch and kind of a warm up before I work on a bigger project, but I couldn't help but be inspired by all of these things!!

I headcanon that Kohari tended to a garden before she passed away and tried to teach Iruka how to care for it, but after she died Iruka couldn't bear to look at his mother's beloved flowers without hurting; that was until he noticed they'd been knocked over, so he took it upon himself to start caring for them again.

Clearly I hate myself 😔😭
