I feel like the fandom needs a reminder on everything Enji Todoroki has done.
Married Rei for the sole purpose of creating a child that could surpass him and become the Number 1 hero because he gave up trying to surpass All Might himself.
Treated the children who didn’t have both the ice and fire quirk like shit, abandoning and ignoring them. If the theories are true, he even turned one away enough to become Dabi, and possibly gave him those dark burn scars.
Physically and emotionally abused Shouto by making him train until he puked and kept him separated from his siblings.
Physically abused his wife by beating the shit out of her, slowly causing her to lose her mind and ultimately burn Shouto during a breakdown because he looked like Enji.
Put Rei in a mental hospital forever, not for her own sake but because he hurt his “precious successor”
Still trying to keep his reigns on Shouto as a teenager, and continues to emotionally abuse him by trying to get him to use his fire side to reach his full potential and be his next successor as the number one hero.
Bragged to an entire arena audience that he got his son to finally use his fire side and succeeded in getting his son to follow his footsteps, in such a creepy and possessive manner that even the people there were like “what the fuck???”
But you know, he’s a morally grey character, amiright???
