Took the resin kids to the beach to do a little photoshoot.

This is Revy, she is based on Revy from the anime/manga Black Lagoon. She’s still a bit of a work in progress; a lot of my dolls actually need work. ^_^;;

Revy is an Iplehouse YID Grace.

I think Drizzt misses dearly his Faerun friends. This composition of a photo has been bouncing in my head for some time, along with the want to go take a photoshoot with Drizzt in the mountians. I went yesterday because my night post was right at the base of the mountian and I thought, "eh, why not?" even though I know I'll be wanting to go again when Kaddaki gets in and put together. I may even want to go with freinds next time who also have dollies, but we shall see.

Taking this shot was a nervous wreck for me. For starters, I had worked for eight hours and was pretty darn tired (driving makes me sleepy and despite the post being located at the base of the moutian, it was still a 45 minute drive to this vista). There was a bee nest not even 10 feet away where the little buzzbuzzs were swarming and of course they had to come fly about and say, "Hello, who the fuck is you?" AND THEN, I'm setting my doll as close to the edge of a STRAIGHT DROP DOWN TO SHEER DEATH of a cliff as I dare while also disreguarding some safety rules to actually take the shot. Yeah, you may not be able to actually tell in this photo, but those rocks Drizzt is sitting on? They are actually slanted down a bit so nearly everthing can roll over the edge of that cliff. My worst fear was that someone was gunna come along, see me past the safty rail and come charging at me trying to "rescue" me from jumping. Then I'd have to be like, "No bitch, i'm taking photos! Leave me alone!"

Koku has really come to loathe being social with complete strangers.

BACK TO DRIZZT!

So yeah, in his books there is a place known as Bruenor's Climb, where the dwarf for which it's named comes to sit and think and look down at the icey world of Ten Towns. Drizzt was drawn to it for much the same reasons, and eventually a bond of friendship was formed between the two, though the foundation started off a bit rocky (Oooo, did ya see what I did there?). I want such an expansive doll family that right now I'm unsure if I'll ever have any of Drizzt's surface dwelling friends, and it'll be some time before I can raise the money for Zak. Even though my second doll is essentually on the way, I'm sure Drizzt is sad and nostalgic for his home and friends. (Heaven knows this mommy of his don't take him out for funsies as much as even she would like to do so.)

Someday, more funsies in the woods will be had. But for now, this.

This is my boy, Zephyr. Spring of 2018. We just took a walk around a park because i wanted to get a few shots of him with the first faceup.....of which you can’t see in this photo; nice job Koku, very well done. xD

Zephyr is an Uona Lusis head on a Minifee Moe body.

I couldn't stay with dollie friends today because I had D&D with other friends, which I'm reluctant to miss because it's been so long since I was last playing D&D. So Drizzt was with me, and he was holding my dice for me. He's a sweet boy. My GM thinks Drizzt is gunna get him in his sleep, not just because he's a BJD but because he's a BJD of Drizzt Do'Urden. :evillaugh: Little does he know my baby is a big old softie on the inside. With terribly tight strings that make his legs pose funny. :I
