Keith keeps growing his hair, unconsciously trying to look a little more like Kolivan. Lance, meanwhile, keeps calling it a mullet.

What an odd question.

“What an odd question,” Kolivan repeated his thoughts out loud, perplexed at being asked such a question.

“Keith does not hate you at all,” the Galra said, watching as the blue paladin sat straighter and looked at him with his mouth agape, as if Kolivan had said the most shocking thing he had ever heard. “He had acknowledged you, and your skills, to me, and I have no doubt that he… appreciates you and accepts you as his… comrade.”

Kolivan wondered if he had said something wrong when Keith walked into the kitchen, his expression similar to the blue paladin as he looked at the Galra.

Had Kolivan not known any better, he would have thought the half-Galra was feeling embarrassed.

There was nothing to be embarrassed about.

He acts like a father to me, I asked if I can call him dad and he said yes- But I have no idea if he and Krolia are like that. They are very secretive people, and I have no interest in asking them if they are doing some form of dating. They can tell me when they’re ready, I guess.

I think the main issue is galrans don’t really operate under the same rules and labels we do, so I’m just waiting for them to figure out if they would label themselves as dating in a human way at their current stage. I don’t want to assume anything so right now I just label them as ‘very close.’

Imagine these three together.

Kolivan and Adam are no-nonsense people. Kolivan is more strict than Adam but they're still very similar personality wise. Shiro isn't a no-nonsense person, he's still strict than needed but he's able to easily adapt while Adam and Kolivan are either unable too or would rather not.

They'd also just be very sweet together.

Shiro already knows how to interact with Adam and Kolivan in a more intimate way due to the fact that he spent a good amount of time with them. Adam and Kolivan would be more clumsy with each other, they don't know each other well enough for their more intimate actions to come off as naturally as Shiros.

The three also have movie nights where they cook things like muffins or cookies for snacks for their date nights. Adam does most of the baking(with help due to missing a few limbs) while Kolivan and Shiro set everything up.

Kolivan, this is actually my second Kolivan fanart and I like this one a lot more than my first one :) still an awesome leader I'm glad he made it through the whole series.

Let's say Kolivan has a daughter and shes also part of the BOM. Let's also say Keith thinks shes the most beautiful thing hes ever soon. And Hes kind of obsessed with her fluffy ears. How would Kolivan react to figuring out Keith is pining over his daughter? Would Keith as for help? Would Kolivans daughter ask for help from the other paladins because (PLOT TWIST) she ALSO likes Keith back!?!

Ooooo I like this! Super cute!!! Not sure if you wanted some headcanons or a scenario so I’m gonna write some headcanons. So sorry it took me so long to get to your request!

Kolivan:

Kolivan is VERY protective oh his daughter and was very hesitant to let them become a member of the Blade of Marmora

His daughter is his daughter, his blood family and no one would ever think twice about hurting her

He hand trained his daughter so she is certainly a lethal threat and not one to be messed with

He’s ever so proud of his daughter but still hesitant to let her go on missions

And the day Keith joined the Blade of Marmora, Kolivan noticed how his daughter looked at Keith and how he looked at her

He knew this day would come one day but he had never fully prepared himself for

Keith had been smitten since the moment he first saw her during the trials of Marmora

Shiro had noticed too and even encouraged Keith to pursue his feelings for Kolivan’s daughter

Kolivan had always chased off possible suitors for his daughter or his daughter did that themselves

But he noticed how close his daughter and Keith were growing and how well they worked together

Keith in particularly loves the fluffy ears on Kolivan’s daughter and likes to play with them after tough missions as it calms him down along with her

Kolivan is honestly conflicted about the possibility of a relationship between Keith and his daughter

He wants her to be happy and have a fulfilling life away from the Blades and not spend their life fighting 

But he’s also very protective over his daughter and is very cautious about any possible relationship she may have

He’ll 100% murder anyone who breaks his daughter’s heart

So when he is sure that Keith is pining after his daughter, he accepts it but he’s going to do the fatherly thing and sit down to have a discussion with him

And surprise surprise! Kolivan’s daughter turns to the Paladins because she too like Keith and wants some advice

Shiro guides Kolivan’s daughter away to actually sit down and talk with her because he’s known Keith the longest and is the best person for advice regarding Keith

Kolivan encourages the relationship for Keith and his daughter but he’s going to make the threat very clear to Keith that if he hurts his daughter, he’s never going to see the light of day again

New Galra Empire

I had this theory running in my head for a while now but it wasn't until this morning that it hit me like really hard.

So hear me out, the new Daibaazal was choosing a leader and at the end Kolivan and Krolia ended up been the new leaders (representatives or whatever) doesn't that mean they are like the equivalent of the new Emperor and Empress or King and Queen however you want to take it, following this doesn't that mean Keith is the equivalent of the Galras Prince?!

That's just my theory. What do you guys think?
