Playing with simple fingerings first helps establish the correct pitch in the ear. Practicing with different fingerings helps avoid any idiosyncratic technical issues interfering with pure intonation. ~swipe left~ 2) First notes of each measure, then first two of each measure, then first three. In this passage the first notes of each measure begin descending scale fragments. These notes are the most prominent and will be the most jarring if played out of tune.
