Got a W.I.P of my KorTac girl Emeril.

While yes she is mute, Emeril is considered the...sunshine girl in the team. She tries to uplift the team in the ways she can.

When she's on the battlefield though, her teammates are not only terrified but amazed at her skill with knives as well as gunmanship.

Grew up in a tough neighborhood in Philadelphia with her single mother and younger sister.

Excelled at sports and martial arts from a young age. Caught the attention of military recruiters.

Joined the Marines at 18 to gain discipline and escape her environment. Quickly proved herself as a talented sharpshooter and fighter. 

Selected for elite special forces training after displaying uncommon courage and tactical skill. 

Recruited into KorTac due to her urban warfare expertise and ability to operate independently behind enemy lines and stealth capabilities.

Determined, focused and mission-oriented. Doesn't let emotion cloud her judgment.

Intense and ruthless when necessary, but maintains her humanity. Will risk herself to save innocents and teammates.

Reputation: One of few female members of KorTac. Earned call sign "Nightshade" for her lethal stealth and efficacy on night ops. Whispers among enemies call her "Night" for her ability to appear and disappear like a ghost. Respected for her determination and versatile skill set.

Specialties: Sharpshooting, CQB, stealth infiltration, signals intelligence, urban and night warfare. Speaks multiple languages (Spanish and English). Expert in stealth, infiltration, recon. Highly effective commanding a small special ops team.

Weapon of Choice: Silenced Sniper Rifle. Also carries a suppressed pistol sidearm, and a balisong.

RELATIONSHIPS

Despite her intense focus on her duties, she maintains a soft spot for her mother, Shawna, and sister, Daniella, back home in Philadelphia, sending money and checking in whenever she can. Her sister Daniela looks up to her as her hero.

Though she's normally reserved, she opens up over drinks with her teammates, or in 1:1 chats, revealing more of her sly humor and childhood stories. She'll still dismantle anyone in an insult battle.

Though she has some romantic trysts, she avoids serious relationships that may compromise her. Her first loyalty is to her country and team. She fears letting others get too close.

But fun fact, Emeril is not only skilled with knives/daggers but her father happens to be a blacksmith. She learned how to make her own knives when she was in her early teen years with her father's help.

I feel if she were to retire from military, she'd take up blacksmkthing like her father. ♧》
