Or’banak meets Satele in the Odessen wilderness and the two have a ‘discussion’. During Chapter 12 Visions in the Dark.
Never noticed the look on Aric’s face before when you tell him that Havoc is better for the job than Kaliyo in ‘Visions in the Dark’
TOR: Unflappable
Summary: Theron Shan is unflappable... or that’s the image he fosters. So when Lana sees him stagger in the midst of an intel briefing, she knows something is wrong. (KotFE spoilers; Theron Shan/Annya Emrys [female JK])
Note: Filler-fic for the events of KotFE, Chapter 12. Posted without beta or extensive editing, straight from my writing journal.
Alliance Scouting
Did anyone wonder when they played through Chapter 12 of the KotFE about how close Satele’s camp site was to the base. Its like maybe 5 miles away from it. There is a door and speeder pad out there ffs yet no one though to look a little further away??? If they had they would have found Satele and Marr the now friendly Force Ghost.
So, I got Phena through Chapter XII and...I did not dislike it as much as I thought, tbh. All in all it didn’t feel quite as terrible as some of the other chapters.
Then again the fight against Velociraptor was just ???? Like, at least let me lose due to mechanics and don’t just chuck a video sequence in there. (also, I’m not sure what to think about him “strengthening our bond to the Force” because while it makes sense with my head canon it is also pretty much ‘nope, do not want’)
It was nice to see at least a little bit more of Odessen though (I have a thing for forest environments, and the fireflies were so pretty). During the conversation with Satele and Marr it was a bit...um...weird, though. Like Satele was always so fucking judgy when it came to the Voss using the Force differently from the Jedi and now she’s all a-okay with stuff like that? Also, Satele, buddy, pal - Phena has been in an alliance with your Barsen’thor since Ziost, you’re a bit late to the party.
I also kind of liked that the options you chose during the creation of the new saber kind of had an influence on the buffs it gives you (some nicer stats might have been nice, though)
What really, really rubs me the wrong way though is this continous mention of the Outlander having to take the Eternal throne and rule. Because, like, no way in hell is that gonna happen. At this point Phena just wants to kill Victor and Acrann (and Vailyn probably, though I feel like they’re gonna make her ‘defect’ to the alliance at some point) and then go be with her family in some quiet corner of them Empire. So sitting on any Eternal(tm) furniture at all.
But hey, at least she has Vacuum out of her head so that works nicely with what I wanted for the her story (time to bring in the other part of the Alliance, here some the Esh-kha and everyone else :D), so that’s something, I guess.
Re: the chapter 12 things that have been datamined - I am going to remain... we'll call it cautiously optimistic. Perhaps foolishly so, but we shall see.
