I know kinnporsche has a lot of success internationally but i had no idea how famous it is in thailand in comparison to other bl dramas. So i looked for the numbers and tv ratings.

What i found out is very interesting to me (but probably that’s because i love numbers in general lol)

I think kp is doing reeaaaally well for these reasons:

if we compare the 6th episode of every drama currently airing, kp has the highest rating;

the 6th episode of kp has more than doubled the ratings of its 1st episode which means that people are getting attached to the show. Generally the numbers tend to decrease or at best remain stable;

i’ve read somewhere that one31 is not one of the main channels in thailand (but i dont know how accurate this information is) so you’d expect a lower audience;

many people don’t watch kp on tv because they wait for the uncut release of the episode on iqiyi; therefore, that part of the audience is not included in the ratings above.

I then gave a look at apo’s and mile’s instagram profiles as well.

MILE ANALYTICS:

It’s needless to say that the number of mile’s followers has increased incredibly since the beginning of kp.

But this type of data is not always reliable in order to express the level of success of a person (even though i think in this case it is) so we can look at the engagement rate that considers the amount of people who likes his posts and writes comments.

His rate is 33,73% higher than the average engagement rate of all profiles on instagram, which i think it’s huge!!!

APO ANALYTICS:

Same thing for Apo. Even if he has less followers, his engagement rate is even higher!!!

That said, i would be very interested in having a grasp on the success of kinnporsche on an international base. How big is it? Are there many bl dramas more famous than kp abroad? Did other actors obtain the same results as fast as mile and apo did? I have no idea because i know nothing about the bl world. Also, i think it’s very complicated to get those numbers because we know that at least half of the fans watches the show illegaly.

I believe the overall results are very satisfactory so we’re definitely getting a season 2 and i couldn’t be happier for the boys and all the workers involved. They truly deserve it.

The number of mentions for each actor was pretty predictable but what surprises me is the presence of Bas in the 4th position. He is a minor character in kinnporsche!!

This might be related to the fact that they chose him to star in the “mileapo movie” so they’re pushing him a little more… orrr they chose him for the movie because they bet on him for some reasons!

Also nodt... he has almost the same number of mentions as build… a lot for a character that it’s supposed to be dead 👀👀
