Something was different about him, you just couldn’t tell what.
It was true that the whole issue had taken a toll on him ever since before he left, but, when he did, he promised it would be over and you two would be able to go on with your lives peacefully.
The night Seonghwa showed up back at your door, your heart was about to burst out of your chest, both from happiness and from woe. The cuts on his face, the dry blood on his clothes and the limping from his left leg, all of it just broke your heart, but he was back, and you were going to help him to get back on his feet.
“It’s over now” he whispered, his voice so soft and velvety, it made you feel at home, although it wasn’t you who had left. “It’s all over now”.
You stayed by his side, helping him heal, both physically and mentally, trying to give back some of the familiarity, to give him the sense of safety back. But you couldn’t shake off the feeling, something was not the same.
Seonghwa still loved you. He touched you the way he used to, he knew you, he pleased you they way he knew you loved. And he said all the right things, but he never talked about it. He never, not even once, talked about how they ended the battle with... those things. Your boyfriend hated when you called them clones, he thought it was silly, he’d usually just call them things or monsters. Something that he could never be, or any of his friends for that matter.
“Seonghwa?” you rubbed your eyes, trying to get the sleep off them. It was still dark outside and your boyfriend wasn’t in bed, so you wondered what he was up to. A lightning illuminated the room, followed by the sound of thunder that made the house shake. You looked at the time: 2:54 am. “Baby?” after not getting a reponse, and getting more uncomfortable with the storm that was about to start raging, you decided to look for him, maybe he wasn’t feeling okay.
Carefully, you tiptoed downstairs, trying not to jump every time thunder made the windows shake. There was light coming from the kitchen, so you followed it, arms wrapped around yourself, you stepped inside carefully.
“I think it’s time we get together again” Seonghwa said, his back was to you as he looked outside the window, holding the cellphone to his ear. “We’ve all had enough time to heal... Listen, I don’t care what Hongjoong thinks this time, it’s been enough”
You noticed his angry tone, the way he gripped the mobile and how he moved around the kitchen... the limping was suddenly gone. Stepping back in to the darkness of the hallway, you continued listening.
“Suspect what?” he growled “Yunho is overreacting, he knows the clones would have taken more time to heal, but that doesn’t matter anymore”
Your eyes filled with tears immediately, even before your mind finished processing what was going on. Your head filled with all sorts of thoughts immediately, you felt betrayed and disgusted, even scared. It kept you distracted, enough, that when the next lightning landed in front of the house, the thunder made you squeal in surprise.
“I’ll call you in a minute” Seonghwa said into the phone “I think I have a bit of a problem”. He was faster than you, before you could take one step away, his tall frame was already towering over you against the wall. Only half of his face was illuminated by the light from the kitchen, but that was enough to make you freeze.
“What did you do to him?” you sobbed “What did you do to Seonghwa?”
His hand hit the drywall next to your head, making you flinch again. “I am Seonghwa” he growled “And you better accept that, if you know what’s good for you.”
The last thing you saw was his face, lit up by the white glow of the lightning, contorted in fury and hatred, before the lights of the house went out.
You hesitantly looked at who your best friend was pointing at, and saw him. In the midst of the dizzying lights in the crowded place, you can see his bright smile as he talked to his friends on the other side. He was wearing that tight white shirt that holds his toned body for its dear life, and a pale blue jeans to pair his rubber shoes. He has this denim jacket that matches his pants too.
So handsome and neat as usual.
"I don't think I can—" You blushed as you see his eyes caught yours. You quickly turned away.
"If not now, when will you ever get a chance to do this?" Yong Sun grabbed your shoulders with a cheerful smile, making your nervous heart go calm for a bit. "He might be waiting for you to approach him, you know. Guys can be shy too."
You bit your lip as you thought of what to do.
Do I escape or do I go for it?
"Go for it, Saejin." Her smile was too encouraging that you sighed in defeat, making her smile wider. "Yes! I knew you would!"
"If he says no, I'll back down pronto, okay?" You let out a breath as you turned your head to where your first college crush was.
He wasn't there now though.
"I think he went up?" You heard Yong Sun saying as you walked away from her. "Fighting, Jin-ah!"
You waved at her before looking around, trying to find him. When you got to see the bar full of alcoholic beverages, you thought of getting one just in case you lose your confidence, which kept on depleting as seconds pass by.
"Nope. You're not drinking, Saejin." You mumbled to yourself as you turned the other way. Your eyes drifted up the stairs and saw a guy in white shirt trudging in the second floor hallway. You tried calming your loud beating heart before taking steps towards the staircase.
Here goes nothing.
You sighed in relief as you got to get out of the dance floor, patting your aching arms from the pushing you got in the middle. Your eyes were restless as your feet landed on the second floor ground. Compared to the noisy environment downstairs, it was peaceful here.
Is he escaping the noise as well? Is he that kind of person? Is he like me? Or is he—
"Hey."
You almost took a step back to the staircase when you heard a deep voice on your side. Your eyes widened as you saw him with a drink in his hand, his jacket was dangling on his arm. You darted your eyes away from him, trying to keep breathing as he stared at you.
"Uh... I'm—Am I intruding—"
"No! No..." He almost exclaimed as he looked around the empty hallway behind him. "It's just me here, and this floor is an open territory as the first floor is. You're free to roam around."
"Oh, that's..." You bit your lip as you shyly nodded. "...great."
A few minutes has past and you were still standing in front of him as he took sips on his glass, eyes were restless but kept on coming back to you.
Damn, what was I supposed to do?
"Do you want to sit somewhere, Saejin?" He suddenly spoke, surprising you. Not only because he talked all of a sudden, but he knew what's your name.
HE KNOWS ME!
"I—"
"We can stay at the living room at the end of this hallway, less noise and peaceful." He kindly smiled as he gestured the well-lit hallway behind him, probably where he came from. "It's alright if you're not comfortable, I'll just be there if you need something."
GO FOR IT, JIN-AH! You can almost hear Yong Sun's shout in your brain.
"I'll—" You let out a sigh as your eyes met his once again. His round eyes twinkled under the calming lights around you, allowing you to drown within his gaze. "I'll come with you, Hyoseop sunbaenim."
His grin was contagious as he tipped his glass towards his back. Your heart swelled at his kindness, even though you're probably just one of those juniors that he has showed his generosity to. He turned his back on you as he waved towards the way.
"Hmm. Let's go then."
—
Your eyes closed as you leaned your head back on the couch, your book was within your grasp but was slowly slipping from it. It's fortunate that your first class starts in the afternoon, not in the morning, or else your mind would not be in its best state after a hangover. Jiwon already left after breakfast though, not even saying goodbye to you.
You figured she was still upset about you attending that damn party with those girls.
"Argh." You groaned as you closed your book before looking up at the clock on the wall. 10:30 it says. You decided that you'd prepare earlier to get coffee in the nearest cafe, and go to the library, maybe to pull yourself together before class.
A cold shower truly woke your senses, your warm skin tingling under the shower head. Your mind went over to what happened last night as you gently scrubbed your arms with a mesh sponge.
Shouldn't I thank Baekhyun for last night? For the comfort he gave me when I was out of my wits? I think Jiwon mentioned that he gave us a ride home too.
Your eyebrows scrunched as you thought of how you should approach him today if you'd see him around. Wouldn't that be embarrassing?
He saw me in my weakest state.
"He'd forget that, wouldn't he?" You mumbled as you frowned at your arms that hugged his body— "I couldn't forget though." You groaned as you turned the shower on again to rinse yourself.
You decided to thank him when you see him today.
Closing your locker door, you looked around to seek for a familiar puppy face. It was ten minutes before lunch break ends. Not being able to see anyone familiar among the students around the hallways, you thought that you'll just search for him after class. You tugged your bag straps down as you walked up the stairs, preparing your short message of gratitude for the guy.
"Thank you for last night, Baekhyun sunbae." You mumbled to yourself, feeling a bit weird about what you said. "That doesn't sound right."
"Thank you for comforting me?" You shook your head in disapproval. "Thank you for bringing us home last night, sunbae."
You tsked at your awkward thank-you's as you turned to the corner of the hallway at the end. You were about to go straight ahead when you heard something weird on the restroom area on your right. Your eyes widened as your skin had goosebumps.
Was that a gasp?
Your feet halted as your eyes went to the dark restroom area by your right. It was an empty hallway as it was under construction, so nobody enters there.
"Did I hear it right?" You whispered as you desired to run away already. You just couldn't move your feet. "I should probably just—"
"Ah!"
Adrenaline rushed through your nerves, and without knowing, you were in front of the girls' restroom door. It was opened a bit, and a dim light shadowing behind it. You peeked at the space, and saw the reflection of the huge mirror. You squinted your eyes at it, forehead almost bumping the door.
Is that a person?
You should probably run now, but your eyes remained focus on that back—
"Yes, Baekhyun. Just like that! Keep on doing that, hmm. Shove those pretty fingers in me."
Your eyes widened as you got to see the gray hair of the guy that you owe a sincere thank-you. His back was on the mirror, hips moving forward sensually as if he was rubbing himself onto something—someone rather. His head was tilted on to the woman that is plastered against a wall behind her. His shoulders flexing as he did something below him. They were clothed, but that doesn't make the scenario any more innocent.
"Are you hard, baby? Will you fuck me here, Baekhyun? Please do! Please give it to me." The woman wailed desperately as she gripped on the said guy's ass, squeezing them as she pulled him closer. You see Baekhyun's head jerk away from her, making her shut up.
You stepped away as you heard the woman moan, probably against his mouth as it was a muffled one. Your legs almost gave up on you as you did.
Get the hell out of here, Saejin. Keep yourself together.
You quickly snapped your body towards the main hallway and ran away from that sinful area.
"Thanking him is probably not for today, huh." You shuddered at the thought of seeing him today. You wouldn't stand thinking of him as a good guy for now. After doing some things at that dark room, you couldn't bare to sincerely thank him without a hint of disgust.
Why does that matter though? He helped me last night, so he deserves gratitude from me. Why does it matter that he's currently making out—or more with some girl?
"No, not today." You decided as you opened the door to your first class, away from that dark hallway.
You thought that having caffeine in your system would keep your mind sane in class, but a single scenario kept your mind away from the lecture your poor professor was teaching.
He is truly a freaking playboy, huh? Does he not get tired of doing that every day?
As the bell rang, you guiltily stood up from your seat as your mind was as empty as it was when you entered the class. You mumbled to yourself to self-study later to make up for this lecture while you packed your untouched notebook and pen.
"Why's he here?"
"Is he playing around with someone from this class?"
"Oh my god, he looks so damn hotter every day."
"He said he's just waiting for someone."
"You don't think it's her, right?"
"Let's hope not."
You barely had any of your woke brain cells right now until you stopped by the front door of the room. You could hear whispers behind it, meaning something that you wouldn't like to see is happening.
Your feet were quick to decide to leave the room by the back door of the room. Your consciousness probably sensed some bad aura outside of that front door.
I've got a bad feeling.
You quickly opened the back door, and didn't bother to look back at the crowded space on the front. You walked briskly with your eyes in front, alert and—
"Lee Saejin?"
Your walk just turned into a full blast run, swiftly turning to the corner and almost smacking into a person. You just muttered an apology before going down the stairs—
"Hey!" A hand took a hold of your arm, stopping you from taking a step down. You didn't know if it was your instinct, but you slapped away that hand that touched you. Your eyes were glaring as you looked back at the person.
Your bad intuition about that aura was absolutely right.
"Woah, sorry to startle you." Baekhyun breathed out, surprised by the glare you welcomed him with. His hand hanging mid-air. Those sinful hands. "Are you alright? Why do you look mad?"
"Don't touch me again."
Those words were like sharp knives that pierced his heart, not just his confidence. His shoulders slumped in disappointment. He thought you'd be happy and thankful to him the moment you see him again. Despite feeling that way, he smiled at you.
"Sorry, I forgot you're not like my girls."
My girls? Of course, plural form.
"Of course not." You snapped, not able to control the irritation flowing within you. Your eyes drifted at the piercing he's got on his right ear. There's a short silver earring dangling, making him more attractive to look at. Instead of becoming feminine with an earring, he looks more masculine.
"Are you forgetting something to say to me?" He said while looking into your eyes, hopeful that you'd still say kind words to him. He couldn't believe he'd be like a child waiting to be praised by his mom. "Like a simple thanks or some—"
"I appreciate what you did last night, but you didn't have to do that." You cut him off as you looked back at him. "I would have been alright by myself."
"Are you hearing yourself right now? You could have been taken by that douchebag if I didn't see you!" Baekhyun almost shouted, his eyes suddenly stern and mad. "You were vulnerable and drunk—"
"I wasn't drunk! They probably placed something in that drink they gave me—"
"You knew that, but you still drank it?!" Baekhyun incredulously asked with a new fire burning in his eyes. "What kind of stupidity is that, Saejin?!"
You stopped talking at his shout, eyes dropping at his feet. His shoulders heaved up and down as he breathed heavily. He sounded so concerned about you that you almost believed it.
"Just..." You struggled finding words that wouldn't end up with you choking. "...don't bother yourself worrying about me, I don't need pity. You don't even know anything, so stop it."
"Then tell me!"
"I don't need you, Baekhyun sunbaenim."
You did not mean to hurt him in any way, you just needed to get him off of your back. He's not supposed to be entering your mess of a life. He should just keep on fooling around, especially it's his last year of college. He doesn't need to worry about a person like you.
You don't need him.
"So don't bother trying to be friends with me." You turned your back at him, heart feeling heavy as you quickly took steps down the stairs. Leaving him there with a blank stare felt bad. When you glanced at him at the last step, he was still looking at the space where you were earlier.
Maybe he's just trying to get into my pants. You thought.

Something you would have never thought that someone with a perfect life would have. You thought he had it all: good skin, money, fame, fans, a loving family, a brotherhood, everything. But it dawned to you that night that everything just doesn’t seem like how you imagined it to be.
Jeon Jungkook stood before you, his body hunched over your frame with his forehead resting on your shoulder. Your arms immediately wrapped around his waist, your hands soothing his back in hopes it’ll comfort him. “Babe, what’s wrong?”
He looked so dejected and sullen, and every passing second you looked at him, you felt even worse that you couldn’t immediately ease this state away from him. No one likes seeing their significant other sad. And it was more painful to see because of the fact that you have no idea why he was feeling this and how long he kept this to himself.
You immediately began to think back to all the times you have seen Jungkook to try to see if there were clues or hints on the way he was feeling but you came back to nothing. Were you a shitty girlfriend for not noticing any signs?
Jungkook let out a loud hiccup trying to catch his breath. His sob was loud and continuous, and it didn’t seem like he was going to stop crying any time soon. “Babe...” You whispered, a small sigh leaving your lips as you frowned. “Talk to me...”
“It’s everything.” He lifted his head as you wiped his tears with your thumbs. “Everything is wrong.”
“Tell me.” You pulled him closer. “Tell me everything. I’m here for you Jungkook.”
“It’s you.” He spoke, eyes so glossy that you could see your own reflection. Your heart dropped to the floor as your eyes grew wide. “I’m no good for you, Y/N. I don’t deserve you.”
You were shocked. Jungkook not being good enough for you? He was absolutely mistakenly wrong. It was you who wasn’t good enough for him. Jungkook was no doubt out of your league. You were merely an average everyday girl who just got lucky. And Jungkook? He could have anyone. “You’re wrong, Jungkook.”
He shook his head. “You’re too good for me, Y/N. You deserve someone who can give you their all. I can’t give you that. I’m always busy. If it isn't touring, then it’s filming. If it isn’t that, it’s preparing for comebacks. It’s always one thing after another. Y/N, you should be with someone who can always be with you.”
You disagreed. “No, Jungkook. I understand that you can be busy but I still love all the times we made together. Everything up until now, I love it.”
“But I’m never there.” He cried. “I’m never able to be fully there for you and it upsets me. I hate knowing that when I’m on tour, you’re there waiting for me to be with you. I don’t like being apart from you. Don’t you feel like I’m just not able to be with you?”
“Honestly, Jungkook, yes. Sometimes I feel like a bit lonely, but it’s all worth the wait.” You smiled cheesily. “To finally see you after a while makes me feel so happy and you don’t understand how it feels for me. I feel so happy and so grateful to know that I’m someone you look forward to coming home to see. I love you Jungkook, and I wouldn’t change anything about our relationship, I promise.”
Jungkook sighed, his shoulders falling down sadly. “I don’t know...” He mumbled with eyes glued to the floor. “I just... Are you sure?” He looked away from his toes to look at you. “Do you promise?”
You nodded quickly. “Yes, I promise. I’m 100% telling the truth. I understand that what you do is for your career and if you could have it any other way, you would. Jungkook, if supporting you and rooting for your career means that there are times that I won’t be able to see you, then so be it. I have always said this to you ever since we starting dating and I still go by it.”
A corner of Jungkook’s mouth went up, a small smile forming on his lips. “Okay.” He pulled you into a bear hug, his arms squeezing you tight. “I love you so much Y/N, thank you.”
You smiled into his chest. “Anything for you, my love. Absolutely anything.” And you meant every word.
You decided you needed to get out of the apartment so you quickly got dressed and put a leash on your dog. You made your way to the park that was near your apartment. You admired the scenery, only except your dog was too eager and kept pulling on your arm.
You walked and walked until you found a perfect bench under the shade in front of a pond. You sat near the edge of the bench trying to keep your distance with the man who joined you on the seat. He was writing something in a journal and kept erasing, it was a pattern.
You wrapped your end of the leash around your arm multiple times making sure it was secure so your dog wouldn’t run away. You pulled a book out of your bag and turned to the page where a polaroid of you and your best friend marked your spot.
It was difficult to focus on reading when your dog kept pulling on your arm and you could practically feel this stranger's eyes on you. You managed to read 2 pages and when you got ready to flip another page, your arm just gave up and your dog was on the run. You immediately dropped your book and started chasing after your dog.
You ran what felt like was forever, you tried to calm your voice so your dog didn’t feel threatened. You finally cornered her by the concession stands and grabbed a hold of the leash like your life depended on it. You scolded your dog and started cursing at yourself cause you left your book at your spot.
You started walking back towards your apartment when you could see a figure in the distance. As you got closer, you could definitely tell it was the stranger who was sitting on the bench next to you.
“Ahh excuse me, miss!” He yelled out trying to get your attention. You kept walking, feeling as if something bad was going to take place. Unfortunately, you couldn’t outrun him and he made his way to your side.
“When your dog ran away, you left this.” He announced, pulling out your book with the polaroid sitting on top. You were shocked but extremely thankful.
“Oh my god thank you!” You grabbed your items from him and felt bummed that you had lost your spot.
“I’m Jaebeom. I actually live on the same floor as you.” He informed you.
“Oh really? I never noticed I’m so sorry” You started, politely smiling at him, but there was a silence until you broke it. “I’m Y/N”
“Nice to meet you, Y/N” He said with a smile that made his eyes crinkle just right.
“I’m sorry I bothered you with this” You emphasized the word cause you couldn’t believe your dog got loose and a stranger had to return your book to you.
“I should really be getting home” You announced, starting to walk in the direction to your apartment complex.
“Wait, I can walk you with you!”
You paused. You were very cautious of men and this could either end in two ways.
“No, uh Jaebeom, it’s fine. I don’t wanna inconvenience you.”
“I insist. A pretty girl like you shouldn’t be walking home alone, we live on the same floor, remember?”
He really wasn’t gonna let you walk home by yourself. You didn’t know whether to be creeped out or thankful at his compliment.
“My dog will protect me” You stated.
“And what will happen when you get attacked and your dog runs loose again.”
He shut you up. You had lost this battle so you had to walk home with this not so bad looking guy. You huffed and started walking again as he sprinted to your side.
“So how long have you lived in that apartment building, and how come I haven’t seen you before?” You asked Mr. Jaebeom.
“A few months, We probably just never crossed paths.” He answered.
“What were you doing in the park anyway” You had a bad habit of interrogating people but you tried not to seem nosey.
“I come to clear my mind sometimes, or get inspiration.”
“What do you need inspiration for?”
“I kind of write and produce songs”
And now you were curious about this man, your apartment building was now in sight, but you decided to slow down your footsteps.
“Do you have any pets?” You asked
“You ask a lot of questions don’t you?”
“Woah! Sorry” Your dog was dragging your feet at the moment and you decided to shut your mouth.
“I don’t like dogs, I have a few cats”
“So you’re a cat lady” You giggled.
“You could put it that way”
He opened the door for you and you both walked to the elevator, he pushed the button and you waited for the doors to open.
“Hey, thanks for walking me home... and not murdering me” You dragged your dog into the elevator and before you could push floor 3, he had already pressed the button.
“My stepfather always told me to be a gentleman” He shrugged his broad shoulders, that you totally weren’t checking out the whole time.
You smiled warmly and reached into your bag to find your apartment key.
“I admire that” You pushed the door open and let your dog run free inside and closed the door back. You leaned against the door, facing Jaebeom.
“Will I see you around?” You asked him.
“Definitely.”
“I wouldn’t mind listening to some of your songs” You wrapped your arms around yourself and watched him smile towards the ground.
“I can make that happen.” He smiled.
You nodded and reached for the doorknob behind you.
“See ya, Jaebeom”
“I will see you, Y/N”
You smiled and entered the apartment, making eye contact with him as you shut the door. He didn’t leave until you closed the door. You froze in your steps.
requested by @hottiehalee: Could you do a really really fluffy idol! Reader x Jeno where they meet on a variety show and the MC’s talk about how cute they would look together please?
genre: fluff
warnings: none
a/n: I hope you like this (?) Im happy with it but at the same time im not, ya know? Also, ope, I havent been able to write good fluff lately, ive bene in a angst mood
Your foot anxiously tapped against the floor as you patiently waited behind the thick maroon curtain. The cast was laughing and making jokes waiting for the guest members to be revealed. They made a fit and started arguing over who they thought the guests would be. “NCT?!” you heard them scream out as Jeno appeared to them.
You giggled at their reactions, they began to praise him for nearly everything he did despite the fact that he just arrived. “We have an amazing guest so far,,do you think the last person is going to be someone we don't want?” Jae Suk asked while thinking about all the things the producers and staff have put them through. “Maybe it will be Y/n,” Somin said, you didn't have to see her to know that she had a big smile on her face. “It's not going to be Y/n,” Kwang Soo yelled at the top of his lungs. Somin had expressed her fondness for you on multiple occasions, she always jokingly asked the staff to bring you to the show. She was one of the reasons why you weren't as nervous as you normally would have been in this situation.
“Alright alright, reveal the last person,” Sukjin said. You heard Jae Suk and Haha teasingly yell at him for acting like the boss. You watched as the thick curtain jerked to the side to reveal your standing figure. Somin gasped and covered her mouth with her hands while the other members laughed. “Oh my gosh, Y/n,” they said. You waved at them as you carefully walked down the stairs. “Hi guys!” you beamed. Jenos eyes locked with yours causing a light blush to spread to both of your cheeks. This didn't go unnoticed by Jong Kook who stood nearby with watchful eyes.
“What game are we going to play today?” Haha asked while eying you and Jeno, he thought something was suspicious. “Y/n go stand by Somin,” Sechan suddenly said while pointing at the girl who was now hiding behind Sukjins back. You chuckled and moved to stand by the normally outgoing girl.
“The game we will be playing is a secret and you won't know until we arrive at our location,” the PD said making some of the members grown.
“The teams will be chosen at random by drawing cards by the team captains, Jeno and Y/n,” the pdf content to explain. You nodded at his words while looking at the cast members. Having Jongkook and Jihyo one your team would be the above choice but Somin and Haha could be really useful and good too. Kwang Soo and Sukjin were the ones you definitely didn't want on your team for various reasons.
“Who wants to draw first?” the PD asked while looking at you and Jeno. You looked at him with curious eyes, you really didn't mind. You held out your fist to play rock paper scissors, Jeno understood immediately.
“Rock, paper, scissors,” you said while hitting your fist against your hand. You smiled and showed rock first as statistics have shown that most people pick scissors. You smiled when Jeno held out scissors. He pulled his hand away defeated making you beam. The cast members eyes went between you two with slight smiles.
You walked to the PD and put your hand in the ugly red satchel. Shuffling your hand around you close your eyes tightly as you nervously picked a card. Pulling it out you unfolded it while facing the camera, you smiled happily when you saw through the camera that you had chosen Jong Kook.
“Jong Kook,” you said while turning around.
“I'm so screwed,” Sukjin said while laughing.
“You're always screwed,” Jae Suk jokes making everyone laugh. Jeno approached the hat and pulled out a piece of paper.
“Sechan,” he said while turning to face the catfish looking boy.
“Ah Jeno, you don't have good luck so far,” Haha apologized making Sechan look at him offended. You and Jneo took turns choosing members until all of them were on a team.
Your team consisted of Jongkook, Somin, Jaesuk, Sukjin, which you were quite happy with, despite the fact that you got Sukjin. Poor Jeno had a team of Sechan,Jihyo,Kwangsoo and Haha, Sechan and Kwangsoo on the same team was a bad combination.
The PD decided to take a break while they got everything situated. You patiently waited to get your makeup fixed up and your shirt changed. Your team color was blue and Jenos was red. As you struggled to tie the bandana around your neck in a fashionable manner Jeno laughed and approached you.
“Mind if I help?” he asked while giving you his adorable crescent moon smile.
You nodded your head shyly, “That would be nice” you said while letting go of the bandana and handing it to Jeno. You watched as he carefully folded it a little before moving to wrap it around your neck. His face was so close to yours, you could feel his hot breath dance across your skin. His hands brushed against your neck as he tried to tie it beautifully. Jeno had to look away to hide the massive blush that was now on his cheeks.
“I think I did it,” he said while stepping away and admiring his work.
You giggled “Think? Mr.Lee Jeno when you offered to help I expected the best,” you jokingly yelled.
Jeno started laughing “I've never actually tied a bandana like that before,” you pretended to be hurt and shocked at his words.
You were about to speak up and say something when an arm was placed on your head. Immediately you knew who it was
“You know, I'm the love expert. I know love when I see it. You two would be really cute together,” Kwang soo said while acting like he was high and mighty. Although you blushed at his words you didn't want Jeno or Kwangsoo to know that you did in fact have a crush on Jeno.
“No offense Kwang Soo but you can't keep a girl for more than 2 minutes,” you said. Kwang Soo moved his arm off of your head and fell forward as if you had just kicked him in the stomach. He pretend to cry making you roll your eyes. Jeno looked at you with an emotion that you couldn't recognize. He was about to speak up and say something when the PD hollered
“All right everyone, the camera will be rolling, lets load you up on your respective buses,” you gave Jeno a grin and a small wave before running over to join Somin.
“You and Jeno, huh?” Somin asked as you approached her. You started to laugh while shaking your head
“We practically just met today,” you said trying to prove her wrong, but the lovesick look in your eyes told her a different story.
“Practically? What's that supposed to mean? ” she was about to yell and make a fuss but you shut her up by placing your hand over her mouth. A few staff looked at you guys with questionable eyes before they continued on with their day.
“We've met behind the scenes at music shows before. But we have never talked until now,” your face lit up when you mentioned talking to him today. Somin shook her head and laughed
“Oh Y/n, you're deeper in love than you think,” she said while you guys hopped on the bus.
“What took you so long?!” Jae Suk yelled. Somin and you smiled at him
“Can we not talk and enjoy the weather outside, huh?!” Somin yelled back causing Jaesuk to shut up, defeated. You smiled and bit your lip as you sat down, you could see Jeno smiling rightly while talking to Haha. Jeno really was effortlessly handsome.
“You know Y/n, if you keep looking at Jeno like that, I'm going to have to do something,” Jong Kook scarily said. You wipped your head around and looked at him with wide and scared eyes. Everyone burst out laughing and Jongkook covered his mouth with his hand.
“I didn't mean it in a scary way”, he started to say with an adorable smile and a nervous laugh.
“It sounded like you were going to kill Y/n for looking at Jeno,” Jae Suk killed while putting his hand over his heart to show that he was scared.
“No I meant that if Y/N kept looking at Jeno I was going to say something to him,” Jong Kook explained making you calm down only a little bit.
“Y/n, you and Jeno would be really cute together. You've kept stealing glances at each other the entire time. Plus I saw the way you guys laughed and blushed while talking to each other, that's the same way I looked at my wife when I first met her,” Jae Suk said while remembering how he met his wife.
You looked outside at Jeno once more, your eyes locked with his and you waved your hand. He shyly waved his hand back and smiled at you. Everyone watched the exchange happen Jong Kook sighed and opened a window just as your bus was pulling out.
“Jeno! Y/n likes you too,” he yelled at the top of his lungs before shutting the window and acting like nothing happened. You screamed at his words, you turned around and tried to hit him through the tall seats.
“How dare you,” you screeched while everyone laughed. Jeno stood there with a dorky look on his face, he watched as your face went red and you tried to hit Jong Kook, that proved to him that Jong Kook wasn't lying and you really do like him. He made a note to himself to talk to you once you had a break from filing and ask for your number.
“Come one Jeno, we have to go beat your little lover at whatever game we are playing,” Jihyo called out as she entered their bus. Jeno nodded his head and trailed behind with a small smirk
