#kpop obsession

Hello ! I had been watching predictions and i came across this 'MRS BTS' thing ( no hate btw) i saw many of em telling about their appearance and all race ethnicity and even moles???? I'm not sure if we can actually tell this much when aren't sure of the birth time (google be giving fake info ) . What was the worst thing ?? Many people think they are mrs. Bts .. umm---

I actually can't imagine like people actually got nothing to do ? 🤷 They comment and tell that these characteristics match them ?? Btw what are ur thoughts about this unhealthy obsession ?

Again , ig this will get alot hate but it's the truth and I'm not a hater tho I'm an army .

I don't recommend doing appearance readings for spouses/partners. For personal readings, people will get too hung up over making sure that person they've met who may be their spouse matches that appearance a reader has given them.

Appearances change like hair color and weight. Some people get tanner or paler too like could have a summer tan at the time of reading. Some people might find this skin tone to be considered pale but then others might think that's not pale. Some people could be really skinny at the time of a reading and then later they become overweight or vice versa. People can get rid of moles through surgeries. People can do plastic surgeries too to look different from how they were like 5 years ago. (When you look back to some celebrities' old photos like when they were 13/15, they could look like ugly ducklings and then blossom later or they could look really good before but age terribly.)

Some people are just curious what their fav idols' potential spouses would look like. Some might want to see if maybe they are that idol's spouse through confirmation of some sort. Many can feel that it is actually possible to be a BTS spouse because they feel that BTS is very approachable and relatable. Some can feel they are somehow "connected" to BTS because they feel BTS is highly spiritual. It's just good marketing from Hybe/Bighit.

I think I said already in a lengthy post about my thoughts on obsessing over kpop idols. You can read that post. Many obsessed fans are lonely, have mental health issues, and/or have issues with their own lives that lead them to want to find hope/purpoes in BTS.

totally agreed with the idol obsession post, some people just don't realise the difference between daydreams and actual reality smh.

How someone becomes obsessed with kpop idols/celebs can be different. However, based on my experience with readings, many who become obsessed are very lonely. Many also have suffered from a lot of pain and end up relying too heavily on kpop idols to escape from the pain or cope with the loneliness or stress from reality. Some also feel that they haven't succeeded in life or find their lives to be very boring so they choose to live their lives through kpop idols (i.e. watching their favorite idols achieve their dreams makes them satisfied because they themselves feel like they're also achieving something or streaming their songs and seeing that their kpop idols' songs reach X spot on billboard etc makes them feel that they've accomplished something too).

The obsession can intensify when idols are marketed to be like fans' romantic partners. Fan service has the potential to make fans feel that there actually is a chance to date/marry their favorite idols. Also, the image that idols don't date, have no interest in dating, or don't do casual flings/friends with benefits can create this fantasy for some and create unrealistic expectations for relationships/love.

Yesterday I found out about those things called "masterposts" or smth and I was like wow I should make one of these!!! But I actually don't have much to say TT. As is in my bio, my name is Alexis, I'm a minor and I go by any pronouns :D (yea ANY even neopronouns, I really do NOT mind!!) I draw and collect plushies, and I have a concerning animanga addiction which I'll get to later.

Now starting on some actually fun stuff that's not in my carrd bio! I have a few things I particularly obsess over. Those things would be: Undertale, Toilet bound hanako-kun, and Bungo Stray Dogs. My oldest is definitely Undertale but that's not important. Now back to the concerning animanga addiction I mentioned earlier. One day, I made a cool blog called @tbhkobsessor for all my tbhk posting and reblogging. And then I realized.. I love BSD too!!! So I made a blog for that too, @bsdobsessor :) UPDATE july 2024 regarding blogs, i made a kpop obsession one too because i realized i didnt have one, @kpopobsessor

UPDATE June 2025 I also have one for hermitcraft/lifeseries now @hermitcraftobsessor

It also occurred to me that I could've just posted about all of these on one blog, but it's too late now so screw that I guess. You'll probably just see my little temporary phases on this blog since it's not dedicated to anything :D And yes, I'm lazy enough to reblog this on all my obsession accounts, pin it, and call it a day for their "intros"

Wow come here after a while, I didn't follow anything 😂 just want to say that this toxicity will soon disappear. I'm even optimistic to say really soon. I feel like with the laws will be more strict in South Korea towards the people who invade idols' life but also towards companies and how they "manage" the idols' images. For BTS, I think people will be less interesred and pretty sure soon another group will come to "fullfil" the desire of the "thirsty" public 😅

Hshshhshs i hope so!! It happened to 1D, so it could happen to the boys, it will be sad, but at least these people will move on to another celebrity or realize that this isnt healthy

It still amazes me that most fans can't consume kpop without developing actual romantic feelings. And then bash groups from the gender they're not attracted to, bc they're 'boring'. Mf, all of them make the same music, you just find your fav interesting cause you wanna fuck em🥴

It's interesting, I remember that I started to like 1D because I found harry and zayn cute lmaoo, and being super honest, many of the famous people are famous bc they are hot and also some of them have talents 😂😂😂 but yeah, its sad to see how we just care more bc they are hot🤧🤧 i can say that i pass that phase in my life with 1d in my early teen years, and now i can see so much clear all this stuff, how we are so easy to fall for a pretty face Lmaooo

Also i see a lot of people bashing other group bc of that and im like what?!? Bro it’s normal to like a group without being attracted to them😂 if it’s not ur cup of tea thats ok but they are the same as bts and other kpop band🙄 (not saying every kpop band its the same, but its the same deal u know? Same gender, dance, and all that good stuff, ofc every band has something distinctive💞)

If I remember correctly the die hard Jk-stan was/is an idol in Momoland. But it's suprising that the scouters know that they're fans and still scout them. Idk I would fear for the safety of the already developed artist. One girl from Itzy was also a Got7 fansite. So I assume the idols of the 4th generation have a higher likelyhood to become idols bc they were a big fan of a previous generation idol. But the non-Asian foreign ones have no chance. And the way they boast about their idol on their social media is going to be the first thing that's going to get them rejected. Agencies look you up lol and I don't think they want someone who claims to marry Jungkook and being his sole reason for happiness lmao

But yeah, maybe they think that the internet will never know about the idol past but everything stays in the internet lol, however its weird because that could destroy the idol image(?, like if people find out they were a die hard stan of another idol...idk jjxjxjnsjns i cant understand what was the reasoning of the agencies who sign those idols
