— he could also so easily be dustin but i chose will because if jungwon isn't the main character then who is. the loved, childish but also so incredibly, deeply strong, little weird boys of all time. have gone through so much, had to grow up quickly, not incredibly openly affectionate but loves their friends so much they'd do anything for them. people sometimes still see him as that little kid which sometimes is good but other times they need to see that he is growing up. such sweethearts actually the sillies ever ever in the world.
mike wheeler/riki
— other than the fact that i am a massive mike wheeler kinnie and i relate to riki on a thousand levels, riki is the optime of teenage boy who keeps in every emotion. he loves his friends to the point that he can't show it without teasing, but would rather die than have any of them leave him - codependency whilst looking like the most independent person in the world award goes to these two. i am also a wonki byler truther - two boys forced to grow up too quickly bc of terrible circumstances. also mischaracterisation final bosses and the way they are the most hated lol LEAVE MY BOYS ALONE!!!!!

— honestly the least correct of them all but there's not many character jay could be so i settled with heejay jancy tbh. BUT!!! having a passion that he sticks with his entire life, constantly being teased by everyone but also incredibly caring, if not the MOST caring of all the characters, older brother energy. a lil short tempered but it's okay we forgive them. jaywon jonathan and will 🥹🥹 also babygirl energy lbr

— oh my goddd autistic sunghoon truthers wya LMAOO no okay 1. doesn't take anything srsly until they do and then they're actually incredibly good at what they do, 2. teasing is a love language but then windows error blue screens when receiving affection, 3. the jakehoon steve and robin parallels???? i honestly don't know how to explain how i came to this conclusion but it's real to me.

— also another im kinda hesitant on but i dunno i just love this as an idea. they've got the tori vega, popular, smart, kind girl energy who's definitely gonna go far but then shows their strength in other ways that isn't exactly what people see of them. very introverted except for when it comes to their friends and their passions, then they are open. likes to hang back and be an anchor. my pretty wivessjdjdjssm

— c'mon who else would he be. THEEEEEE puppydog boys of all time. humour as a coping mechanism but also SOOOOO protective of younger friends (like... jake taking care of riki to protect his youth???? hello???). absolutely beloved, comedic relief that doesn't overshadow how kind they are, has that high school crush energy who's smart in their own ways. and just so many pair parallels - jakehoon as robin and steve, jayke as steve and jonathan... so funny.
eleven hopper/sunoo
— literally to start off: looks weak but is incredibly smart, incredibly powerful, and incredibly kind. strong in all aspects but people just see them both as an extension of someone else rather than who THEY are which is rly sad. sometimes walked all over but that doesn't mean they don't stand up for themselves. ruled out for being... different to everyone else, the odd one out. but is incredibly loved by their friends <3
