WEEKLY JOURNAL 3

Assalamualaikum everyone, Today I would like to share my experience on the things that my team and I had gone through while working on the Arabic project.

It's a vital subject that everyone needs to take. For the final project, we were assisted to form 1 group with 5 to 6 members. We need to choose a topic like in the Clinic, in the shopping mall, or at the house.

My team members was Aleeya , Laila , Salma and Sara. Our group chooses Al tasawwuq as our main topic. Al tasawwuq means shopping mall in Arabic. We sat at one table and discussed together on the library to divide our work tasks.

Aleeya and I choose to be an editor for the video and scripts while the others choose to work on the introduction, conclusion, and acknowledgment. As for the portfolio details, we worked together as a team.

I am so excited to make this video together because we chose to do an acting for this task. We choose Jalan Jalan Japan, KIP Mall near our college as our location to shoot the video. The efforts that we put had made a memorable memory for me. Aleeya and I had a sleepless night discussing the scripts. Since the scripts needed to be in the Arab language and we needed to include the Malay translation, it was quite challenging for both of us. On the day of shooting, I still vividly remember that everyone wore a nice baju kurung to shoot this video. Everyone looks so pretty and neat. We took a grab to bring us to the KIP Mall. It cost us Rm 4.80 each.

The Mall was less crowded since we chose to shoot on weekdays. We choose to eat first before shooting at Mee Tarik Faizal Kong. It was my first time trying their Mee Tarik. Ordered their most ordered, Mee Tarik chicken dumplings. It was tasty and worth the price. After we had finished eating, we straight go to the Jalan Jalan Japan on the 3rd floor. We politely asked for permission first to shoot and they agreed. We totally had throughout the day. It was full of laughter and bloopers. We explain about price and quality in Arab.

Then we end our day with a strawberry ice cream to reward ourselves finished record the videos. We immediately edited the video the next day. We choose to finish up the rest of the portfolio and the video at the campus library. We spent 4 hours to finish what haven't been done yet.

Finally, the portfolio was finished within 2 weeks and submitted on time. This Final project taught me a lot of things, such as teamwork and communication skills. It also creates a special bond between us. Besides, everyone on my team got the experience of acting and editing videos.

In this post, I will describe my experience climbing Gunung Ledang.

It started on 16 February 2024 and it was the last day of spm but not for me and my friends though, we still have a test on 28 February but we got 1 week holiday, so me and my friends were thinking on what or where we should spend our holiday together, some of my friend say that we should study for upcoming test and my other friend say that we should go to Melaka Wonderland since the entry is free cause of the Visit Melaka event and because to make some memories before separate our own way to the future , so we agree on going to the Melaka Wonderland on 20 February. On the day of event we thought to go early so we don't have to get in a long line, so we head out early in the morning by our own motorbike and gather at our local gas station to get our fuel full then we start moving to our destination it's a bout 25 minutes from here after we arrived, we all shocked to see the amount of people that already arrive before us, the place was pack with people. Devastating we don't know what to do because we know, it's not going to be fun if the place is full of people, but then one of my friend have an idea "how about we go to Sagil" at the time I don't even know what sagil is, "but it sure is far" said my friend, at first me and my friends not so sure if we should go or not cause his idea dose sound a bit dangerous and this is my first time ever to go such faraway place by a motorbike but my gut telling me to go, as soon as I agree on it, every one agree to go then it settled we are going to Sagil.

We begin our ride with a doa so that we all shall go back home safe and sound, we start at 8 am my friend the one who suggests the idea actually have experience crossing state by himself so he lead the way to our destination after half an hour we have finally have crossed the state at the moment I said to myself "oh my god I actually crossed a state?!" After another half an hour we stop by at the gas station nearby to get our fuel full "we still have half an hour left to go" said my friend, then after another half an hour we have finally has arrived to our destination, Gunung Ledang, but our journey is not end yet it just the beginning

At first we have to walk 1 km to starting point then we have to hike 3,000 ft up at first I was like "man can I really do that?"

then my friends encourage me to do it, at first it pretty easy but then the mountain getting steeper and steeper making it harder for me to hike but after an hour hose by, I have finally make to the top most of my friends already arrive before me but it doesn't matter because I just achieve one of my dream, as soon as I get to the top I see a beautiful scenery and the water is soo cold and nice it's really help me relax from my exhaustion after hours of soaking our self in the pool we decided too head home. It took us an hour an half to arrive home

This is going to be one of my journey that I will not going to forget

Weekly Journal 1: The stressful week of this month

Starting from 30th September until yesterday, it was a very stressful week for me. In my college, there's a request for an education loan. It is called MARA. I have to fill in A LOT of documents! The request for the loan, a confirmation of not being broke and we even need a witness to write her or his autograph! It was a bit troublesome and complicated, but my motivation to actually get the money pushed me forward to keep doing it and never give up. Even my parents have to cross state to meet up with me to exactly complete THE WHOLE ENTIRE documents. It was so thick that I was having trouble carrying it around and sorting the paper following the order that the agency requested. Which again is VERY troublesome. But I guess it's reasonable, we're requesting money from them after all and we all know that money isn't easy to attain freely. But doing this in a short period just isn't fair. Our seniors in the past can have a long deadline while we have a shorter deadline. Like me and my friends keep saying "MARA membuat orang marah", it basically means MARA makes people become angry. Well, since I've already submitted it even though there's this one part I wrote wrong, I hope it still accepts my request heh. I'm free finally. I feel at ease, until reality hits me with a lot of assignments, group projects and final exam. AH. Studying I must do, communicating I must do. It's alright. Just a couple more days, weeks, months, years. I'll be truly free. Hopefully.
