Also please have these Helena doodles because I Have Been Thinking About Her A Lot Lately
#femslashfebruary Day 4-My tiefling cleric, Helena her downtime w/her dwarven, wererat, ranger girlfriend, Yara( played by @greyfen ) as they groom her enormous catmonster's claws because those things are NOT furniture-friendly; she seems to be enjoying herself nonetheless, tho-!
Shout-out specifically to @okase for giving me the idea to jump in on this meme
Started on this way earlier this week but just finally got around to finishing it bc insomnia just be like that; doodle of my favorite scene from last saturday's dnd campaign feat., @chaoticcomposition 's Surina & @greyfen ‘s Yara, & my own Helena(tiefling)+Blossom(Krenshar)
(Context: Helena wanted Blossom out of their room for the night & was beating around the bush to Surina as to why; Yara did not)
Finally got to reintroduce my cleric in today's DnD sesh+also her pet krenshar, Blossom-as both a babby-& as an adult/young adult! This is a censored version of her ref image tho bc the original is rather grisly(Krenshar are big cat felines with the ability to peel their faces off+scream)
In omnia paratus
The Krenshar. No doubt one of the cleverest of the lesser magical beasts, and the death of many an inexperienced young adventurer. They like to send one of their number out ahead, you see. It just looks like the ugly crossbreed of a wolf and hyena when you first see it poking around the perimeter, yipping, howling, and doing everything he can to get attention. Just a few pairs of eyes looking at him is all he needs, not attacking, not pursuing, just paying attention. Then comes the awful scream as the fur shrivels back over his skull.
There must be some sort of hexing involved in the creation of this monster, because the urge to defy logic and run for some safer ground is overwhelming. But stay true, friends, for if you try to run and hide I can guarantee the rest of his pack will be there waiting for you with glowing eyes and hungry jaws.
Conquer your fear and you will find his hide no more resistant to your steel than the flesh of any mundane creature.
