Song Recommendation | KSUKE X AMBER | Breathe Again

This has just been a week full of Amber.

This song is just naasty (in a good way). It’s very interesting- both visually and audibly..(is that a word). I really like how traditional asian instruments were incorporated into the song. One of my favourite things in music is the integration of different genres/cultures/times- things such as traditional asian sounds with modern methods/ techniques. Although this song doesn’t thoroughly use the traditional sound, it was a pleasant surprise. 

I absolutely love the breakdowns- they’re DIRTY. And although the vocals/rap parts are repetitive (they’re the same lyrics and melody over and over), the breakdowns and electronic aspect keeps the song interesting. The slight variations in the breakdowns are just enough to help keep you focused and interested.

Visually....you can really tell SM is starting to be more creative with their videos. Regardless of who edited and produced the video, the fact that SM released something as visually compelling as this is a wonder itself....I mean....they’re surfing on sushi.
