Kuiper is comfortably chilling as the wind howls outside.
Kuiper is taking the fact Frumpkin is in his preferred bed with good grace and being super snuggly this morning.
Kuiper very politely and very carefully and very laid back-ly would like to play fetch.
(For those who did not see my earlier post: Kuiper really ONLY wants his toy thrown up there onto the cat tree. If I am asleep or trying to sleep when he wants to play, he will drop the toy right on my face.)
And now, here it is folks, the first and best reaction take of Caduceus and others reacting to the box of 48 jingle balls my friend got me.
Kuiper says he has no idea who knocked things off the shelves in the back. No idea at all, he’s no snitch, even if it wasn’t him, perfectly behaved gentleman that he is.
I now have two cats consistently wanting to play fetch.
Caduceus ofc still is obsessed with jingle balls, and wants me to throw them out into the hallway, living room, or back room, preferably with lots of ricochets or a long general chase involved, and he still either brings me the ball, (or brings it close to me) sometimes, and other times just cries at the top of his lungs until I go pick it up myself.
Kuiper had slowly been learning that this is a new form of play. His toy of choice is a soft fuzzy sort of ball with a bit of shiny tinsel involved, which I have to constantly pull cat hair off of. He mostly wants to play when I am already in bed, but will ask to play by standing on the bed and crying a bit or giving me pointed looks, and he pretty much only wants HIS toy thrown short distances, preferably up onto the top tier of the bedroom cat tree, but towards the window or anywhere on my bed is also in his playbook.
And as Cad will drop his jingle ball on my pillow, or on my body, or beside me when he’s wound up but I am trying to sleep, Kuiper as of last night has started dropping his toy directly onto my face if he believes I’m not getting the message.
Kuiper in his doorway. He likes to curl up around the wall or lie against it with his belly to the breeze.
