Paparazzi stimulus art

Thanks to a combo of waiting patiently to use the gift cards from friends as well as the papadamnit stimulus, I was able to buy some expensive art supplies I never would have considered. So I tested them out (all but my very expensive da Vinci watercolor brush arrived. That won't show up until this coming monday.)

The first two are ECOLine watercolors, the last is my first time using Prisma colored pencils. I made sure not to use any filters and either natural light or our home lighting. Aaaaaand now I understand why these things are expensive because they are that good.

My husband and I went out Pokemon Go’ing today for their community day (SO MANY BELDUM) and here’s my Instagram* Selfie Dump for that outing

I was actually in a LOT OF PAIN for some of these photos. I couldn’t use the scooter so I ended up walking a bit too much. Even with frequent sitting breaks my entire lower body felt like a bruise. I was non-verbal by the end of it.

It was a good day all around, but ouch. Being broken sucks :(

I’ve had a really tough day. I asked my friend to come over to keep me company. She showed with wine and my favorite snack (chex mix) and she braided my hair and gave me that Valkyrie General* aesthetic. I love my best friend so much

When you’ve had a bad day so you go to a salon to get hair-spoiled so you can feel better about yourself and then your friend braids it for you when you get home and you feel even MORE awesome <3 Valkyrie power!
