Fair warning...this is another rant. I meant to post this yesterday bit I got distracted. HERE'S THE DEAL PEOPLE. I won't cut corners on this one (technically 2)...

I'm not crazy...you can look this up...XEBEL is a penal colony of Atlantis and it's populated with BLACK fish people...WAYMENT lemme explain. In the comics Jackson Hyde's mother (Lucia) and sister (Delilah aka Deluge) is from Xebel. (You may have already known this but I didn't) ...We do know that Black Manta is the father of Jackson Hyde (and Kuldar)

NOW...with this information it's time to reimagine some stuff...

Upon finding out that Lucia is not dead as a result of the experiments of the Xebel leader but rather was transported to a super max inner prison, Black Manta goes to rescue the mother of his children...the twins Jackson and Kuldar (Young Justice started it and I'm not killing a blacl character). On the way, he meets up with Deluge, who so happens to be his adopted daughter as she sprang up Lucia's fertile garden (he killed her biological father). Being true to Xebelian society, he kills the King of Xebel via ritual combat, claims the throne and promptly frees the love of this life...she is now Queen Lucia.

Now Black Manta and Deluge frees Kuldar from that brainwashed cult called "Young Justice" and retrieves Jaskson from his New Mexican prison. Now they sit atop of Xebelian society as rulers...

BUT WAIT I'M NOT DONE!

See something don't sit right with them...then it dawned on me...we got introduced to them but WB duped us...so here's the tea (straight from my muddled mind)...The fisherman kingdom is Atlantica (The Atlanteans tried to rename them)...and the Royal Family is

KING TRITON

Hold up...rewind. I said KING Triton

And his daughters:

Ariel

And Tamika...iykyk

My brain: You’ve decided Danny is some type of not straight. Kaldur is bi. You have a new crossover ship.

well first off, we all know danny is trans. i’m also considering making him demisexual panromantic? or just pan in general. either way he it took him a while to figure though part of himself out.

as for him with kaldur, i am totally down. kuldur is the responsible boyfriend to danny’s disaster boyfriend. kuldur is the kind of person to overthink what they’re going to do on dates and danny is the type to worry if he’ll be able to show up to the date at all. i can see kuldur going all out and showing up at the dinner venue in a suit and tie, checking his breath and worrying if it’s too much. and then danny appearing five minutes late by crashing into the ground like a meteorite.

which is sad becuase danny is the type to care about these things and ger flustered and he’ll try to be romantic. but he’s got so much else going on that he also tends to be forgetful.

i could also see kuldar being the one to remind danny to sleep and scolding him when he does something stupid. would it be weird for me campare kuldar to jazz? i think they have the same kind of concern and care style, though kuldar is less nosy and analytical. he’s better at respecting danny’s boundaries, but as a leader he feels compelled to address issues.

he’s also often stuck by how funny danny is. kuldar is the type to get overly tense and concerned for everyone, he has a lot of responsibility weighing on him and honestly, danny gets that. can he lighted the load? kinda, maybe not always in doing the work itself, but danny knows how to lighten the mood. kid flash and robin can do this too, but danny is less hyper or weird about it. he sticks to classic sarcastic quips and puns. he’s not trying to make whelmed a thing. and he’s not talking to fast to be understood. i see kuldar having a very quiet and simple sense of humor. he’s the type to find knock knock jokes funny. this is also a source of contention with kid flash, because have the things danny says that make kuldar laugh can barely be considered jokes. to each their own

also ice powers plus water powers? can you say op team up? their powers feed into each other. i could see them through water/ice between each other and manipulating them together in a fight. also kuldar is resistant to both high heat, high pressure, and deep cold, as a fishman, given the depths he’d have to sometimes travel. so he’s not bothered by the cold danny gives off. and danny’s intangibility and half dead status might make it so he could travel underwater without even a breathing apparatus. he might be careful about that at first until they test it more, but danny just being able to hang out in the ocean with kuldar is pretty cool. danny would probably draw parallels to space or the ghost zone (for the wilder underwater bioluminest flora and fauna).kuldar visiting the ghost zone also strikes me as a wild day for them. meeting pandora would be a big deal for him
