As of today, it's been 1203 days (approximately 3 years and 3 1/2 months) since DC published an ongoing comic book centering a Black character in its mainline continuity. I'm using this poll to bring awareness to some Black characters who I think could use some love. Fem edition.

Headcanon: Duke glows when he feels strong emotions and Ace and Jackson are not prepared for that.
It's a crime that they haven't made friends yet. They all need friends with positive energy because their lives are awful.
Besides being the "black" kids in a white family, and the whole fandom only remembering them for that, it's pretty messed up.
Them: I have a personality with virtues and flaws, I have gone through traumas and good times, I have a totally valid vision of life and my external factors are an impact on my history and personality, in addition to being aware of the society in which I live.
Fandom: Hey! The black kids!
Jackson and Ace had a conversation about it, and apparently everyone ignored the huge impact they had on each other 😭😭
Have you ever done any art of Jackson Hyde? I think your style would be amazing for him.
this is actually my first time drawing him 🌊 thanks for the idea!
