This is a roleplaying, documentary based through the gathering of stories written from the perspective of Kuppa of Winter’s Edge. Everything on this page will be independent of any outside pressure and will be based in the gathered memories of lore. This will be a recording of creativity and inclusion.
I am Kuppa. I started my journey in the bleak of the dead season for most larps. Winter. Icy. Freezing Temperatures. Little to no turnouts. Little did I know at the time that there was other ways we met occasionally. But I survived the Winter at the Edge of ‘24 with a vigor in my soul and a cup of energy elixir as black as the cloak that would soon be affixed in my Joann’s clearance section creative mind.
Everything comes to an end though.
The winter waned and the realization that this community is strong and very dedicated to its players warmed my hope for the new, weird, sometimes very competitive, nearly always very creative group of spellcasting, 10ft+ boffer hitting, happily volunteer based group of ancient Amtgardians I found myself in.
The legends run deep. The future uncertain, though pleasing. A little over a year in now, it is clear. Amtgard, Winters’s Edge, the other Kingdoms in distant lands, the overarching world: it is diverse and has something for most.
You just have to open your imagination and let go of your ego… and prepare to be hit with a couple of wacky bats.
